99. Tessa’s POV

“I messed up big time, didn’t I?” I asked as I looked at the two women.

“Big time, yes,” mom answered and then smiled at me.

“But it’s never too late to make amends, is it?” she asked with a knowing smile and that eyebrow raise she usually did.

She then walked towards me and hugged me out of her own volition.

For the first time in almost twelve years, I felt my mom’s warmth on me.

“I have missed you so much ma,” I told her as I hugged her and clung to her as if my life depended on it.

“And look how well you have done for yourself baby,” she said as she broke the hug and held my face on both her hands.

“I will make things right with my mates. I promise,” I said and mom smiled at me.

“I know you will,” she said and then let go of me.

“Where is this and how come grandma is here with you?” I asked now clam enough not to blame grandma for what her daughter did.

“The moon goddess gave us this place to meet you and she worked her charm with the witch ancestor to allow grandma
