Ariellas pov
The courtyard was completely empty. I had read a lot of mortal books on schools and this was definitely not what I envisioned. "Everyone's already in class. Let's go." My father whispered. Why he was being quiet when nobody was around us made no sense. It was beyond quiet and I definitely didn't like it. "Do you think we are the only ones late?" I asked as we walked though the courtyard. There's no way I could be the only one late right. "Here." My father said right as he teleported us out. I actually wasn't a fan of teleporting. It made me feel funny. I preferred to walk to enjoy the scenery. Something that I could thank on being powerless. My father created things for me in the back yard to mimic different realms but it wasn't the same as the real thing. It would never be the same. I always thought it was amazing but now that I seen the real thing, I refused to go back to my back yard unless it was just a back yard. No more fake beaches or forests. I wanted the real thing from now on. "May I help you sir?" A soft voice asked from behind a finely made desk. The wood designs looked to be carved by hand. The little swirls were detailed with great precision. I reached out to touch it but my father smacked my hand away. "Yes my daughter is new here. Ariella. We were running a little late but." My father Got half way through explaining about my bathroom disaster before the pink haired lady was waving him off. She was small and looked more like a fairy than a Goddess. "Did you need me?" A deep voice next to me asked. I looked over to a God who looked to be as tall as my father. He seemed to be my age but something about him was different. His dark hair was short but sticking up like he used magic instead of product. His green eyes were a bright green. They were brighter than my father's. They sparkled in the light. As dark as a leaf maybe. They looked like my eyes when they changed from light blue to green. "Are you ready?" His deep voice asked. I looked up at him staring at me with a weird expression. Was he judging me? His raised eyebrow had me looking away. "I'm guessing you weren't paying attention. I'm Blake and I'll be your tour guide until you get settled." He said in a tone that sounded more mocking than friendly. "I'll see you later sweetheart." My father whispered as he gave me a kiss on the top of my head. "Wait." I blurted as I realized he was just leaving me here. I turned towards him and all he did was give me a sad look. The fact that he waited for me to talk took away alittle of the fear that was drowning me in an ocean of insecurities and doubt. "Aren't... Aren't you coming with. We didn't even get to talk or umm." I couldn't even finish my sentence as the tears started to cloud my eyes. My father grabbed me and hugged me tight without a second thought. He knew me so well. "You were so worried about looking good this morning that I didn't want to ruin your concentration." He whispered into my hair. I couldn't help the sob that came as I realized I was so worried about the school that I neglected to spend time with my dad. I never had been away from him. He worked at home and only left when I was sleep or doing my own thing. I could feel the knots forming the more I hugged him. I didn't think this through. Was I ready? "If you want you can." A clearing of a throat had me sniffling alittle and my father stopping mid sentence. "I know you are new here but we kind of are on a schedule. So if you could." The God named Blake rudely said. I didn't bother to take my head out of my fathers chest because it was comforting. How could I do this. "Hunny. I know you are scared but it will be fine." He said trying to coax me. I was pushed back and forced to look at him. He kneeled alittle so we could be eye level and that did nothing to help the aniexty that was eating away at me. "Maybe I should do online classes first." I decided in a split second. I wasn't ready and he suggested it and I refused. Now I was changing my refusal to an acceptance. "Honey. We are already here. Do you really want to go home to our boring house?" He asked softly. I did. I could be without this school with God's I didn't know but how could I live without my dad. What was I thinking? "It will be fine." Blake interrupted as he pulled me away from my father. I looked over at him with a scowl. I definitely wouldn't be staying here with someone that was beyond rude. All he did was smirk before lifting his hands up in the air in a surrendering gesture. I couldn't be bothered with this nonsense. I turned back to my father who was no longer here. I looked around and seen he was completely gone. The office was completely empty besides the few Goddesses that were writing and typing away. He didn't even say goodbye. He said I could go home. Well he started to until this God interrupted. My fear turned to anger as I realized he did that on purpose. "I want to go home." I snapped at him, not caring that I spent years begging. I wasn't ready and it took today to realize it. He gave me a once over before mockingly stating. "It's too late. Once you apply you are bound by bond and unless you want to break the law you are stuck here." His nice attitude was angering me. Nobody ever told me that there was no backing out.Ariellas Pov "Nobody told me that." I whispered. I felt defeated. I was so excited to come here but I forgot about my dad. Hes been so supportive and always there for me. "Let's go." Blake demanded as he grabbed me. I couldn't protest because we were teleporting out of the main office instantly. "Oh. I see we have a new student. If I'm not mistaken this Is Ariella. I want everyone to make her feel welcomed." A scratchy voice said alittle to excitedly. Her enthusiasm did nothing for my anxiety. The older Goddess with big brown eyes and chestnut colored hair had a huge smile on her face. It was like she was a huge bottle of sunshine. Her happiness did nothing for me. "Go ahead, you can sit down in the empty seat." Her scratchy voice hurt my ears more than it helped ease me into my transition. I slowly walked forward and looked around at all the unfamiliar faces. Most of them were smiling and smirking. Whispers could be heard but not understood. It was like walking into a rainbow
Ariellas pov The God that was standing in front just stared at our table. I knew that he was watching Blake but I still couldn't get rid of the feeling that he was staring at me. Observing me. Did he know I was powerless? Was I some kind of weird creature to everyone here? Zavier looked at our table one more time before he was looking at everyone. He held his head up high, like he was looking down at everyone. Nobody had the relaxed demeanor that they had when we walked in earlier. Everyone was on edge. It felt like there was alot of tension in the room. "As most of you may know I'm the God of the Future and I can see things before they happen. So let that be a reminder that I will know before you decided to magically learn something and the punishment will be severe. The high kings laws are not to be looked at lightly. Just like skipping classes or leaving all together." Zavier stated right as he looked at me with a raised eyebrow. Did he know I wanted to lea
Ariellas pov It felt like my word was crashing as Goddesses were chuckling. I could only keep my head buried deep in my book. If I could I would submerge into it "Ariella. Ariella." Blake snapped at me as he shook me. Why was he yelling like something was wrong? I didn't want to but I peaked at him with one eye. He was looking at me with a raised eyebrow and I was more confused than ever. "Did you plan on sleeping throughout the whole day?" He asked with a smirk. Sleep? "I mean I'm all for sleeping but I definitely don't think you want to get punished on your first day." The laugh he gave me had me slowly sitting up. I looked down at the dry book confused. I couldn't stop my hand from rubbing at my very dry face and eyes. I was sleep but I didn't feel like I was sleep. I looked over at Blake who was now standing.. A sweep of my eyes over the room had me sighing with relief. It was a dream. Everyone was gone. How I sleep without realizing it was beyond m
Ariellas pov Aries looked at me for a second before he was looking at everyone else. His teeth grinded together the more he took everyone in. "I know you think you are being funny and that I don't know but I've been teaching for the last two years and I know what you are laughing at. And let me warn all of you if you laugh at my handwriting or even speak of it you will be crying by the end of the day." Aries snapped at everyone. I paled alittle as I watched him closely. He slowly walked to his black desk and sat down. His eyes scanned the room continuously and I swear that every time they got to me they paused for a second. Maybe it was my paranoia but it felt like he had a vendetta against me. His relaxed personality couldn't hide the beast that he truly was. I really wanted to ask the God next to me what he thought but it was like I was being intimidated to keep forward even without him saying a word. I felt trapped in my seat during the whole class period even when Aries loo
Ariellas pov "This beautiful Goddess right here is Ariella The new Goddess and I am the dick that never introduced myself. Ace is the name but the ladies love to call me Aye." Ace joked as his eyes twinkled up at me. "Nobody calls you Aye loser." The Goddess next to him who had dark blue hair laughed as she playfully hit him. The way he looked at her with hooded eyes told me that he was definitely a player. It was fine. I was definitely not looking for anyone to date. "I'm sorry I'm so rude. My name's Rosie." The dark blue haired Goddess with the yellow eyes smiled. Rosie and Ace. That was easy. "Ariella but he already told you that." I softly spoke. The way she made her brows jump had me confused and the smile that came with it was even more confusing. "Well I'm Derek and this here is jazzie." The God with regular brown hair said as he messed up the blond Goddesses hair. So many names to remember. "Well as long as you don't try to talk to my boyfriend we can be friends an
Ariellas pov Relaxation hit me fast. I felt free. At some point Ace had lifted me up and had me sitting on his lap. Whatever they gave me was working wonders. "You are so beautiful." Ace whispered next to my ear. The feeling of being against his body was nice. Comforting. The tickle of his voice hitting my ear had me shivering. My sensations were all over the place. It felt like I was getting cold even with the sun heating up the garden. The warm breeze should have helped heat me up but it did the complete opposite. Every time it hit me I moved closer to Ace who didn't seem to mind. Everything around us was going so slow, so serene. I see why they inhaled that straw. A rough hand rested on my upper thigh pulling my attention to my leg. Ace was making small circles on my leg. Part of me knew I should probably move but I was too lazy and comfortable. I felt his hand go up higher but I was too relaxed to even talk. My mouth felt heavy and my body did to. "So soft." Ace whispered
Ariellas pov "But they, they inhaled the straw too." I rushed to defend myself. I couldn't get in trouble if everyone else did it to right? Alax chucked before shaking his head. "A straw you say?" He asked like what I said was the funniest thing he ever heard. "This. This is not a joke. I didn't know what it was and I won't do it again." I stuttered. The realization that I might make my dad suffer was taking away the fun of having friends and being here all together. "It doesn't matter, you did it and if you were to go to your next class like this consequences would've been severe. Drugs are forbidden on campus." I felt light headed as I realized what I had done. Drugs? I had heard of drugs but all I knew was mortals took them to get high and sometimes they made them do crazy things. Every kind had a different effect and some could be deadly. The high king actually made them illegal recently to any low rank God. "Am I going to get arrested?" I asked as I came to realize my mis
Ariellas pov My head felt like someone had punched me a million times. Nomatter how hard I tried to reel in the pain it just kept coming. A throbbing pain that was like clock work. No amount of tossing and turning did the job. "Help." I groaned. Hopefully my father would hear me. He was usually very alert and nomatter the time he would come running. Silence was all that filled my room besides an annoying clock that kept ticking. Who put a clock in my room? "Daddy." I called out, causing the throbbing to take ahold of my temple. I lifted my hand to try to massage my head but my arms felt like jelly. I couldn't even panic right because every time I sobbed or freaked out a pulsing pain shot through the side of my head. Where was he at? I couldn't call for him anymore because just the thought of the pain that talking caused had me panicking. He would be up to check on me soon. I hoped. For now I would try to fall back to sleep. Tick, tick tick was all I heard and it was driving m
Hector's pov "What if I can't rewind time?" Maverick asked as he pointed his knife towards Alexander Jr. "Than that means you aren't powerful enough to be ruler." Alexander Jr. said without showing any fear. Maverick chuckled as he used his powers to have his knife floating in the air. "So I'll be the only one with magic if I can't go back in time?" He asked wryly. I cursed Christopher for the bad fortune he sent our way because there's no way Maverick could be this lucky without his fortune and our misfortune. "All magic will go away if Ariella doesn't wake up soon." Klaus stated in a matter of fact tone. "So I'm the only hope." Maverick stated with a wry tone. All I felt was dread and regret. Yes, Alexander was dangerous, but he also was reckless, which gave us hope. Maverick, on the other hand, was far from reckless. He spent 100s of years watching Alexander and Ariella. while never showing himself until it was necessary. Alexander would've never been able to stay away
Mavericks Pov I looķed over at Alexander and chuckled darkly. "I guess you guys couldn't wait until my son is brought back to life." I said with a bite at the end. Maybella looked up at me with glossy eyes that had me grinding my teeth together. I looked away from her and over to Alexander. "Heal my son now." I ordered. Alexander lazily looked over towards me with lust filled eyes that had me narrowing my eyes. When he looked down at Maybella and completely ignored me, I lost it. I grabbed maybellas' hair and pulled her off of him. "Fuck that hurt." Alexander said. "I didn't mean to." Maybella said quickly. "Do you like getting your hair pulled?" I asked because I had grabbed her hair tightly, and she didn't make a sound. Slowly she blushed making me narrow my eyes. I didn't have time for another goddess. "Fix my son and wife. " I ordered again. Still he ignored me completely. I looked at maybella in a warning that she didn't take seriously. "Tell him to revive my s
Hector's pov "My mom only wants you because you betrayed my father.' Alexander Jr. exclaimed, causing me to groan internally. I kept my mouth shut even though I wanted to tell everyone that Ariella belonged to Noone. "I thought she wanted me because of how good i made her feel compared to your father. " Maverick said with a wry smirk.. "I will kill you." Alexander Jr. growled as he stood up." Mia was quick to grab him by his collar before he made ths situation worse. "Let me go." Alexander Jr. demanded. "No, you are to go home." Mia said sternly, earning a death stare from Alexander Jr. "Im not a baby, and you will stop treating me like one.." Alexander Jr. demanded as he shrugged her away. "Until dad gets better, you are to listen to me." She said confidently. "I'm not listening to you." Alexander Jr said. "You have no choice since I'm going to be the new ruler. Mia declared. "The throne is to be mine."Alexander Jr growled. You are too immature to rule." Mia sang. "Yo
Hector's pov "Kill them now." Maverick roared within seconds of his son and Ariella collapsing onto the floor. I stood frozen as I stared at the hole in Mavericks sons chest. "What have you done." Zavier yelled with what sounded like helplessness. I turned my attention back to Blake and instantly stiffened as I stared at the heart that was in his bloody hand. "I didn't do anything that dad would be upset about. Anyways, mom isn't a prisoner. It's about time everyone here remembers that." Blake spit out as he squeezed the heart until it burst. Blood splattered onto Mavericks clothes, causing him to look down before slowly looking up at Blake with eyes that were full of hate and deadly promises. "I said kill them now." Maverick ordered again. "Daddy, you have to get healers to help my brother and mom." Mia said softly. Alexander gave a nod, and within seconds, healers were teleporting in. "Heal her."Alexander ordered them with a lot of aggression"What about my brother?" Mia
Hector The God of light Wisdom and creations Pov "Of course I'm still taking you." Christopher stated wryly. I gritt my teeth as I chuckled a self mocking chuckle. "Well than it's settled, I'm going on a vacation." Ariella sang gleefully. I said nothing even though every part of me wanted to yell at her to open up her eyes. Unfortunately I could do nothing with her here because the last thing I needed to do was release my anger before she left and cause the darkness in her to consume her. Once she left though I would fight even if it killed me. I knew that it was reckless but I had to do something. We had more Gods on our side now that Maverick betrayed Alexander. I opened my eyes and looked over at Alexander. The way he was looking at Maybella with lust and love filled eyes told me that if we didn't act soon he would be lost forever. He had to be able to fight the control Maverick had on him. There was no way he was not powerful enough to beat it. He had Ariella's powe
Hector The God of light wisdom and creations Pov Ariella's cheeks instantly turned red as she took in Zains words. I didn't even have to guess to know that Maverick taught him everything he needed to know in order for them to rule for an eternity. I wanted to believe that Ariella would listen and take our words to heart but I knew that she was too lost in the love Maverick somehow got her to feel. Still I could not just give up so without thinking things through I slowly spoke. "Maverick tortured you too Ariella, he helped break you for years. He helped trick you into falling back in love with Alexander or do you not remember that?" Slowly the darkness that seemed to be consuming her showed in her eyes. Maverick leaned over towards her and whispered something in her ear that I knew was against me. "You are consumed in darkness mom, you are just too lost too see what he's doing to you." Blake snapped aggressively. I balled up my fists and gritt my teeth because Blake was re
Maverick The God of dark wisdom and creations Pov Slowly a smile formed as Alexander jrs eyes dimmed and his powers came to a stand still. "Now you will be as powerful as a half breed until you agree to your loyalty towards us." I lied. He would be weak for an eternity if I achieved my goal. I would not allow him to be powerful. He was originally one of my biggest obstacles and if not for Christopher having Ariella drink something while she was pregnant with him that would slowly weaken his powers I would probably be struggling right now. Luckily Ariella put herself on a path of fate that made her weaker than me otherwise that drink wouldn't have made it to him. He would've known that Ariella no longer wanted Alexander in the future and would've been able to help his father prevent it. Unfortunately for him Ariella and Alexander kept him as a baby for too long so by the time he aged the magic worked it's way through his body. Had Klaudia done what Ariella asked and p
Ariella's Pov I stiffened as I took in Mavericks words. The only one that can do something about it listens to his every command. Was Alexander under his control? "See Ariella he controls Alexander. He's the reason Alexander is with Maybella." Zavier stated quickly. "He doesn't control me." Alexander snapped angrily. Maverick slowly looked at him with a smirk that had me going wide eyed. "You aren't to speak during these meetings. Only when I need you to create something will you be involved unless I say otherwise." He exclaimed with a wry tone. Alexander's eyes went big as he stared at Maverick with mixed emotions. "Do you understand me?" Maverick asked lowly. "Yes." Alexander mumbled in what sounded like defeat. I watched as Maybella looked at Maverick with want and need. I narrowed my eyes at her which she did not take to heart. She wouldn't take her eyes off of him and I hated it. "Can't Maybella stay at home?" I asked with annoyance. Maverick slowly looked a
Ariella's Pov (after reset)A small whimper left my lips as I collapsed onto the bed. Maverick was nothing like Alexander and I loved it. He worshipped my body and made me feel like I was the most important Goddess to exist. Even with how aggressive and dominating he was I still loved every second of it. I would never complain no matter what because he was perfect and I couldn't ask for someone better. After throwing the sword at Christoper and waking up to him laying next to me I couldn't stop myself from making love to him. I refused to ever let him go and lose him. I would accept this fortune and pray that it didn't go away. "Let's sleep alittle." I whispered as I closed my eyes. His hands went to my back and his lips went to my shoulder causing me to shiver. "I thought you said we would go until you were pregnant." He whispered against my skin. A small whimper left me as he slowly lifted me up and put me against his chest. "I was thinking we could rush your preg
