The bar encounter

    On a cold Thursday evening the following week, Sophia could no longer hold reins. She needed warm blood. 

    

    She didn't go with any of her guards and she set out to a bar downtown. She looked irresistible. And she knew there would be a lot of thirsty men in there she'd easily get a drink from. She was going for the jugular.

    

    She wasn't a prostitute though she didn't hesitate to use that word when asked, it was true after all. 

    

    That suited Sophia just fine; she liked keeping a tight lid on everything and especially on this part of her life. 

    

    The bar looked like a dive from outside, but once you got inside it was an impressive place. The walls were painted a pale pink, the floors were wood, the lights were low and it smelled delic
