"Because it's safe with me, just as you are safe with me. Do you understand?" he asked and I shook my head slightly.

"Do you really want to follow me to swim or want to do something or eat?" he paused and I shook my head hesitantly, "No, I am cool. Remember something was on fire Aiden," I reminded him as it flashed into my mind.

On getting to the kitchen, he turned off the fire and then we walked out of the kitchen. "So, how did your day go mama," his voice made my feet go weak, especially at the sound of Mama.
