Chapter fourty one

I couldn't believe the words that pierced through my ears like a sword from the woman I called my mother. "why would she say that to me?" I stuttered with my hands shaking as I moved my fingers to cover my mouth.

I was in shock and I didn't know what to do, tears started to roll down my eyes. "Why don't I just leave this house and go get my own apartment for my peace?" I questioned myself again. At that moment, I didn't know if I hated my mother or regretted having her as one.
