**Chapter 113: For a Second**

Morgan quickly started the car, slamming on the accelerator without caring about the consequences. He crashed head-on into the car that was speeding toward Hanna.

When Hanna opened her eyes after feeling the impact between the vehicles, she saw Morgan stumbling out of the car, as well as the man from the other vehicle.

"Go help her, I’ll try to capture him!" Oliver shouted, signaling to the other security guards who also followed the man who was fleeing on foot.

Everything had happened so fast that Hanna was still trying to process what was going on. She kept her hand on her abdomen, thinking about the irony of the situation: she had just found out she was pregnant, and now she was risking her life before even meeting her baby.

Morgan approached her and wrapped her in a strong embrace, despite feeling a bit of pain himself.

"Did you do this?" She asked, perplexed, clinging to his chest and holding onto him tightly. "You could have died! What would I do if

A subtle smile played on his lips as he read it:"Don't look for me, I don't want to see you for a while." He read it with the ring in his hand, the same one Hanna had forgotten under the bed.“Hanna, Hanna... Is this really the last time you’ll be in my room?” he sighed resignedly, twirling the ring on his finger. “What should I do with you now?”Hanna had barely left the annex when she encountered two tall, strong men waiting for her outside the door. A chill ran down her spine.“What is Morgan planning now?” she asked, backing away.“We’re security,” the men informed her in deep voices. “By order of Mr. Farrugia, we’re taking you to the university.”Hanna was confused.“What is this now?” she muttered, trying to shake off the men who were following her. “What are you doing?”“Stop following me!” she protested, running through the bushes and trees, hoping the men would leave her alo
