 "Well hello Ami, I see you still haven't learned to look where you are going". Connor said looking down at her with a smirk and a raised eyebrow.

 Seeing her again brought him immense joy. Even his docile Wolf peaked up for a moment, whimpering the word ‘mate’ over and over.

She looked up at him, her eyes meeting his, those eyes that were nearly impossible to escape and which changed colour depending on the light and his mood. Right now they were a chocolatey brown with green flecks.

She sighed, of course it was him, typical of her luck. She hadn't entertained the possibility or maybe she had just pushed it far away.
