"I'm going to analyze," he commented thoughtfully as he took the papers, then raising his handcuffed arm, staring at her.

"Oh... I'm not going to set you free!" he announced, pulling him out of the room.

"I believe I'll have to do it the old-fashioned way, Miss Leblanc," he grumbled as they headed to the office.

"What do you mean by the old-fashioned way?" she asked curiously.

"Oh... I'll show you," he said mysteriously, flashing a sly smile.

Elizabeth watched curiously as he went to one of the drawers; what she saw panicked her, after all, Richard now held a blade in his hand.

"What are you thinking of doing? Are you going to kill me?" she asked, frightened.

"No, imagine if I had to deal with a rotting body tied to me. I'm going to cut your arm; I'm very skilled with a knife," he said.
