Chapter 65. Recess

Ella felt as if she was in school again. Her tummy rumbled loudly as she made her way to the cafeteria.

"Ella, wait." Her father called from far behind her.

Ella did not stop, she reached the cafeteria and ordered a deluxe sandwich and a salad. She knew under so much stress and anxiety, she would just eat it away. She moved over to the dessert isle and took a large slice of blueberry cheesecake and chocolate ice cream.

Her father now stood beside her and patted her hair. He understood her anxiety and decided not to interfere with her own healing process.
