For a second I thought Bennett was going to punch me in the face, but when I came back to reality, I only felt his breath on my face.

"What did you just say? Do you want to break the bond?" he asked in a thick, strong voice.

His temper was dangerous, but when his scent reached my nostrils, I felt a relief.

Fuck, how could I face him if just having him around made my world fall at his feet?
