Raymond amidst all irregularities in his mind managed to be in the courtroom for Laura's verdict. It mattered a lot to him. He couldn't deny it.
Laura was brought into the dock as her case was the next to be decided. Raymond had missed the first session today.
Laura was obviously very happy. Her happiness was blooming enough that the cops walking her to the docks couldn't ignore it.
One of them shook his head after watching her for some seconds. Happy Laura! She wasn't aware of what was happening around her.
She looked around the courtroom slowly. She delayed a laugh that would break out of her lips if she found what she was looking for.
Raymond knew she was looking for him. He gasped and fixed his gaze on her until their eyes would make contact.
She paused for a while after seeing him. Smiles sprouted from her lips until it covered her whole face. She blew a kiss to him.
Raymond looked away briefly for her to know he didn't want that
"Hi" a female beautiful voice sang immediately Raymond made it in.He had a hard time before he could find where she was standing, behind the counter. The counter was not appropriate for an hotel that could be called a Millionaire Island.Except for the wine cellar close by that was filled with exotic and expensive wine. The counter was too simple."You are from the Mayor" the girl said again as Raymond was still wondering if he was in the right place."Yes I am from the Mayor and I am supposed to be in an inn known as Millionaire Island" he stylishly expressed his disappointment about the counter."In the whole world as at now, this is the only Millionaire Island in existence" she smiled and stamped the low counter softly."Yes it is" he looked around again. There was no one around except this girl which seemed to be the receptionist."Everyone is enjoying the comfort of their rooms, our rooms" she had definitely noticed Raymon
Grace walked into her room quietly. She had fun but Raymond had cut it short. She knew he would come but didn't expect his arrival that fast. She was still undecided whether to forgive him or not. She loved him but what he just did, showed that his love for her had expired.Hugh was trying to get to her but he wasn't her type of a guy to date. They would only be friends, nothing more."Oh my bed" she jumped on the bed which bounced in a way that she found very pleasing. There was a knock on the door. That couldn't be Raymond. He didn't know her room except Susan told him.Susan seemed to like Raymond. That made Grace a little bit jealous but she should let it go and let them be together. The knock came again, more intense. The person knocking must have grown angry for not being answered."Who is that?" she asked before she could open the door to see who it was."Susan,it's you" she moaned in surprise as she set her eyes on her.
"She's over there" Susan whispered to Raymond. She pointed to a direction for him."Thanks" Raymond followed her lead immediately. He saw Grace going to the large dining table. She carried a small tray containing her breakfast.Raymond rushed after her to quickly take a seat beside her."Sir, you are to pick your dish before going to the dining" a male attendant Raymond was seeing for the first time stopped him.Raymond was angry but he didn't have time to show him that. He was watching Grace taking a seat at the dining table and wishing someone else not taking the seat beside her."Excuse me sir" the attendant called him again after he might have discovered he wasn't paying attention to him."Please,I'm in a hurry" Raymond took the little tray the male attendant had in his hand."In a hurry to eat?" the attendant asked in confusion. It was a joint breakfast. The guests would come to a large dining table for a reason not clear
Raymond didn't respond. He wasn't sure of what to say. Susan had obviously tagged him as a bad person right now."Who are you?" Susan turned away slightly from him."He is a thief!" the guard replied on his behalf.Susan's face was full of pity and disappointment as well. She kept staring at him with a lot of questions definitely running through her mind."At the bay?" the guard spoke to his radio. "I'm coming right away" it seemed he would be leaving the basement soon."I have to be at the bay. I think the cops have arrived. Be careful with him. Although he is handcuffed. Do not move too close to the bars" he said to Susan and walked away."Did she left you because you are a petty thief?" she had obviously thought a lot about the issue of this theft. She had even concluded in her mind that he was a thief. She stood aloof and watched Raymond who had decided not to say anything."What else could have made her that unforgiving? S
Grace was on her way downstairs. She was hearing some light footsteps as she was getting closer.Someone was obviously sneaking around down there. She wondered who that could be and why he or she had been sneaking. She continued confidently. There would be no cause for alarm in here. The security was tight. At the end of the stairs, she saw someone pointing a gun, a very big gun at the attendant over the counter. She was stunned and frozen for some moments. It was unexpected. She studied the physique of the gunman. He wouldn't be a hard task for her to subdue him even without her vaccine. She whistled to notify him of her presence. She mainly did that to divert the threat of his attention from the poor attendant to herself. The man stared at her with her gun still pointed at the attendant. He watched Grace closely. Grace moved toward him slowly."Stop!" he yelled suddenly.Grace continued walking. She didn't hesitate and was ge
"This idiot was hiding in the restroom" Morton laughed as he brought Hugh out and pushed him to the floor with the others."Are you sure there was no one else in this place" Jansen asked, puffing on his cigarette."That's all" Hart grunted as he was coming back out. "This is all I found" he dropped some cellphones on the floor.Morton and Jansen chuckled."What? You think this is not ideal?" Hart asked anxiously."Yeah, you are right, Hart" Jansen smiled. "Take all their phones" he ordered him.Hart collected the cell phones from all their hostages. He put it down together in front of them."So there are only.." Jansen paused to count the people on the floor. "Only thirteen people here" he murmured."You come over here" he waved at the attendant. She rushed to him and knelt beside him. She panted with heavy breaths."Where are your computers,I didn't see anyone on that counter?" he pointed at the counter."W
Raymond struggled in his hand trying to break free but he couldn't.Morton threw him away landing on his back.Raymond quickly stood up trying to run away. Morton grabbed him quickly and put him in a headlock."Don't tell me you are running away from the fight. Is that how you do when you meet your master?" he was taunting while strangling his neck.Raymond was turning blue. It was like he was fighting against a mountain. He succumbed and stopped struggling. He didn't know of anything to do again."You know you are kind of boring" Morton threw him to the ground."I thought Dray said you are a fighter but it seems that boy has been blinded by his cracks" he winced disappointedly.Raymond lied on the ground. He was trying to catch his breath without any attempt to get on his feet."What should I do with you. You are just a waste of time for me" he put his hand behind his waist. It seemed he wanted to bring out a handgun. H
Raymond walked out of the boat back to the bay. Something pinged in his pocket. He dipped his hand and brought out his phone. His phone was now working. That was good. He smiled briefly and put it back in his pocket. The phone started ringing before he could take a step.He brought it back out. It was Mrs. Flinch calling. This was a critical time to take a call. He ended the call and kept his phone in his pocket. It started ringing again. Mrs. Flinch can be very persistent."Mrs. Flinch" he gasped after taking the call. "I'm in a very tight situation right now" he moaned weakly to get free of her immediately."It is about her,I guess. Nothing should be more tighter than her right now" she pestered.Raymond opened his eyes wide but he made sure he didn't make any noise. She had a bad choice of words."I don't have time for this call. I should end it" he opted to disconnect her, politely."Of course, but you have to hear this. Ar
