Mr. Dallas was very frightened as he walked into the Devil's palace. He had done something wrong unless that he wouldn't have summoned him.
He couldn't remember what he could have done wrong. He had been obedience, responsible and fast enough in the best way a servant could be loyal to his master.
"Here I am" he knelt on one knee in front of the Devil's throne. The Devil was standing beside the throne south his back towards Mr. Dallas.
"Thirteen!" the Devil screamed.
"My Lord" Mr. Dallas answered quickly. He bowed down in extreme fear.
"I thought I could rely on you about this mission but I made a great mistake" the Devil was obviously angry for something he had done which he still didn't know what it was.
"My Lord. I have been nothing but a loyal humble obedient servant to you and I promise to remain so for the rest of my days. I think there is a mixup somewhere" Mr. Dallas had now affirmed in his mind that he did nothing wrong.
And m
They started walking through all the places they had already checked. They both had iron rod in their hands checking the ground for hollow sound or hatch like the one at their base."Who the hell is that?" Grace yelled suddenly.Raymond quickly lifted his head up to look in the direction she had her focus. He couldn't see anything."Who is what?" Raymond asked as he couldn't see anyone."I saw a figure like someone just pass right now" she moved towards where she claimed to have seen the figure."Are you saying we are not alone on this forsaken island?" Raymond was already tired of this island. He couldn't think of it in any better way than qualifying it with bad names. He followed Grace who did not wait for him but hell bent on confirming on checking what she had seen."Wait, are you sure you saw someone. This place didn't look like someone had treaded them in months back." Raymond couldn't believe yet. The area almost seemed uninhab
Mr. Dallas came back to them. He looked at them angrily. He was obviously pissed by the way Grace had made noise."Do you want me to regret keeping you alive?" he asked to threaten them. Raymond exhaled calmly. He didn't have anything to say."We all know you can't kill us" Grace chuckled. "The authority to make that decision is far above your pay grade" she ascertained.Mr. Dallas looked disappointed. He was annoyed by her confidence. Grace was right. Mr. Dallas already told them the Devil needed them alive."But that doesn't mean I can't mutilate you" he took his threat to another dimension.Raymond was scared. He had already lost all hope. Except through miracle, they can not escape from this hole they were trapped in."It is just a pity. I'm very sorry for you" Grace shook her head. Mr. Dallas' attention was caught. Even Raymond was confused. It seemed Grace had a plan in motion."You are sorry for me?" Mr. Dallas repeated.
"My Lord,I am here to heed your call" Laura dropped on a knee. She bowed her head. The Devil turned to face her."Stand up my daughter, my heiress" he smiled. "On your feet" he ordered strictly.Laura rose to her feet with her head still bowed. She obviously didn't want to look into her father's eyes."Thirteen had completed his mission. He is now where we want him. Do you now understand why I didn't give him the tonic? Huh?" the Devil smiled victoriously.Laura had complained many times that her father was giving him special treatment. There was a tonic that the Devil used to give all his subjects. It subjugated them to do his will. They would not willingly go against him once they took it.Laura nodded. She must be realizing now. Her father really had a different plan for him as he had said."I know that site is being watched. The tonic wouldn't let him cooperate with them" he explained to her better."So what will hap
"Who is this?" Mayor Mount murmured to himself. He was coming into his living room. There was a man comfortably seated. He was not expecting anyone and he wasn't notified that he had a visitor. He walked cautiously towards him"Mayor" the man classes in a black suit welcomed him with smiles. His face was not familiar but he seemed peaceful. But above all. He had come in here without permission from anyone."Who are you?" Mayor Mount asked slowly. He was trying to be polite despite his mind warning him against that."Take it easy" the man smiled again. He pointed to the chair. He obviously wanted Mayor Mount to sit down."I am Peters, I work for the Devil" he said immediately as Mayor Mount managed to sit down."The Devil?" Mayor Mount was scared. He almost flew up from the seat."Your reaction tells me you know who my boss is" he was still full of smiles. He was definitely thinking nothing would happen to him here.
"Do you believe all that Mayor Mount was saying" Grace asked Raymond back at their base. She had been checking out the sword since they came back. It seemed she was in love with itRaymond had broken connection within him and the sword. He wouldn't fight with that."There is something more to this like I always say. We are not getting the while information" Raymond complained. He couldn't trust Mayor Mount fully anymore."I am talking about the deadline he gave us" Grace moved with the sword, like she was practicing."What I know for sure is, there is no we in this situation. It is only him. He has been using us all this while" Raymond wanted Grace to be on his side on this rather than supporting Mayor Mount or his sword's training."No. I am doing this for my mom. My mom,I promised her" she stopped. She must have felt weak thinking about her mother."Your mom?" Raymond chuckled.Grace had been totally brain washed. This was no
A day earlier.Raymond sat down in front of the computers. He wasn't doing anything in particular just starting at the screen. He wondered the kind of computers these were. They just kept working, searching, showing unwanted images and even some intrusion of privacy.Initially, he was sitting down there alone because of the anger he was feeling toward Mayor Mount. He wanted to switch off the computers. It was like they were adding to his anger. He checked everywhere, there was nothing like shutdown button or command. He was not well versed with computers but he could still shut it down easily. That was his thought. He would do it one after the other."The shortcuts. Alt and F4" he said slowly as he pressed the keyboard. Nothing happened. He waited a while waiting for the shut down dialog box. It never came."Grace!" he called out. She might be sleeping."How do shut this things down?" he asked. Anger was audible in his voic
"He don't use to leave strangely like that unless he is going to your base" Reyes moaned. "And his conference is in twenty minutes""He is not here. It's been a while since I have seen him and that was when you came together" Grace replied him slowly. It was unbelievable. A Mayor missing.Grace was resting after she realized Raymond had also gone out again. That was how he had been going out to clear his head some times now. That was when her phone rang. It was Reyes, an unusual happening and he had been asking about Mayor Mount who was missing suddenly."I'll try as much as possible to get in touch with him. But I'm not sure he's lost" Grace calmed him.He was obviously restless over the phone. He gasped continuously. He was surely calling her because he knew nothing else to do."I didn't say he is lost. He is missing" he panted. What the hell? That was supposed to mean the same thing. She listened to him and let him finish al
Some minutes earlier.Grace rushed out after she had showered her anger on Raymond.Raymond was now regretting what he did. He shouldn't have done that. He followed Grace out.She had already left.He knew what to do. The last time he was with the Devil's men. The heiress or whatever she called herself took a different path. She didn't follow the others.Raymond went after her. He rode at the fastest speed. He wished she had a stop over or any other thing should just held her up for him to catch up with her.He got to the place where he handed Mayor Mount over. He followed her path. After few minutes, he came upon a restaurant and her car was parked right outside the restaurant. He hoped it was not a decoy. She could have left in another car. He got down from his bike. He should check first before making assumptions. He went into the restaurant. He saw her, sitting alone at a table, doing nothing. Maybe he was expecting him.
