Shock to Nabi

[Hostel]

Satisfied with the achievement of sending her friend with a guy, she sat on the bed and started munching the popcorn left, which became chewy.

"Thank you so much," she heard a voice.

Curious to know who came this early to University, she opened the door slightly to see a gorgeous, utterly white and smooth-skinned girl with chocolate brown eyes. Though she was wearing a plain tee and jeans, she looked like a deity.

"Hi, This is Olivia," the new girl said while tying her long blonde hair into a pony.

"Hi, Nabi here," she whispered with shock and happiness to have a beautiful girl beside her. "I should make her a friend and become popular, Aweee!!" she mentioned herself and visualized she and Olivia grabbing tension from boys.

Nabi clasped out and realized that Olivia had already brought all the luggage inside her room and closed the door. "Am I that ugly that she didn't want to see me? Shouldn't she at least tell me, Bye?" Nabi thought to herself, walking back to her room lethargically, gazing at the floor in disappointment.

Nabi is a low esteemed girl. Though he looked pretty and cute, she never acknowledged it. She had a sculpted figure which was twine-thin. Her waist seemed tapered, and she had a beautiful and healthy fair complexion. Her sexy chestnut brown eyes and mid-length wavy brown hair looked stunning and would appear gorgeous if taken care of, but she takes minimal care about her face or hair. She almost spends every leisure minute for her friends or vampire stuff. She is always seen with a messy bun and baby pink lipstick.

Looking at herself in the mirror with messy hair and freckles, she sat on the bed facing the mirror. Despite the bad mood, she started reading a novel, which she was reading the tenth time.

Turning the page with her thin fingers, she was startled by the notification sound and unlocked the phone to see a message from her Mom asking her if she had her dinner. Nabi looked at the clock, which showed "8:20". Sighing to herself, she took her wallet and walked towards the door.

As soon as she opened the door, Olivia was standing there in short cute pyjamas. Her hair was a little wet, and she looked much beautiful than in the evening.

"Sorry, I was a little sticky after a long journey, so I didn't get to talk much," she said in her cute soothing voice.

"No, no, not a problem!"

"Do you want to join me for dinner as it seems you are alone?" Olivia inquired.

"Sure, my friends went to the library outside the campus. By the way, are you a fresher?" Nabi asked as she hadn't seen her on the campus before.

"No, do I look like that. I am a final year Electrical Student," she exclaimed in shyness.

"Electrical final year, same as Ian. Why haven't I seen her before? Should I ask, but will it seem like I am asking many questions" she thought to herself and confirmed that she wouldn't ask.

"My family had recently settled in this town, and I had to shift my college. But since my home is in the outskirts, I am staying in the hostel", she answered as if she heard Nabi.

As they reached the cafeteria, Nabi thought that she should lend a hand as it's new for her and inquired, "I will bring the food for both of us, is egg fried rice fine for you?"

"Fine, thank you, Nabi", she replied, setting her wet hair.

As Nabi walked away from Olivia, she felt happy that her plan of gaining attention wasn't far away. With two plates, she walked towards Olivia, who sat beside a guy who had almost the same smooth and white skin as Olivia.

Olivia walked towards Nabi to help her.

As they settled on the table, Olivia introduced the guy as Beau, her brother.

"Why do I find this odd? Except that both are tall and have the same skin tone, there aren't any similar traits. She is blonde while he has black hair. She has brown eyes, but he has lovely.... hazel green eyes," she thought to herself, mesmerized by Beau's elegant look.

Beau and Olivia choked at once, and beau immediately responded that he was adopted.

"Does she have to analyze us?"

Nabi looked up as she heard a voice similar to Beau, but he wasn't talking.

"Why was able I to hear his voice when he wasn't talking, and why do these siblings always answer to my thoughts?" she suspected and started eating.

"Can she hear me?" she again heard a voice but chose not to utter a word and continued to eat peacefully, without reacting.

"No, I don't think so. But Oli, be careful not to respond to a human's thought" Nabi heard a voice same as Beau but was unable to control her thoughts. "HUMANS?" she uttered out loudly as she was unable to overcome her fear.

"You can hear my voice, right?" Beau, who was sitting opposite Nabi, bent forward and questioned her.

Beau and Olivia heard the numerous questions that Nabi thought, which she considered as only thinking. "No, I can't tell that I can hear. 'Humans', so who are they and why are they communicating through the mind. In Twilight, Edward.....No! They can't be vampires. I know I like vampire stories and wanted to see vampires, but this is too much. He was responding to Olivia, but why can't I hear her voice. Shit!!"

Hearing, "why can't I hear her voice?" Olivia sent a mind voice, "Do you think she is your partner?"

Beau was shocked to hear and replied through mind link, "I don't think so. I have to touch her to confirm, but isn't it too real."

Again listening to Beau inner voice, Nabi's heart skipped a beat. Realizing that she couldn't think to herself, she ran out of the cafe towards the hostel.

Though it takes a second for Olivia and Beau to reach her, they opt to first discuss between them.
