Chapter 60

Eden took a step back, narrowing her eyes. Leaning against the wall, she addressed Cielo in an indifferent tone, "Your son wanted to kill my whole family."

She said it calmly, but Cielo was instantly dismayed.

Without hesitation, he stood up and slapped Simon's face, then kicked Simon's leg. "You bastard! How could you joke about that? Murder? Do you think your life is worth that much?"

He didn't hold back. With one of Simon's legs already broken and unable to stand properly, Cielo's kick sent him crashing to the floor.

"Beg for her forgiveness, now," Cielo growled, his voice almost a roar.

Though outwardly calm, Cielo was inwardly tense. Simon's audacity in threatening Eden's family unnerved him deeply.

Simon, in immense pain, began to crawl toward Eden, begging for forgiveness. "I'm so sorry. It's my fault. I shouldn't have bullied others or acted so arrogantly. It's all my fault. Please forgive me…"
