Chapter 138

Eden turned around with a cold glint in her eyes. A needle appeared in her hand, and she flicked it out with a quick motion.

In that instant, a shrill sound cut through the air.

The needle intercepted the bullet, causing both to fall to the ground.

Eden moved swiftly, grabbing the man by his collar. Her voice was as cold as winter's breath. "Where did you get the gun?"

The man gritted his teeth. "You're dead! Our boss won't let you get away with this! The Aradias serve Boss Griffith."

The man was Darren Brown, one of Solus' more resourceful subordinates.

He knew Solus' temper well after having served him for so long.
