Lyra was starving so badly that she could not take it any longer.

The smell of food made her even hungrier.

When Julien noted how uncomfortable Lyra seemed, he agreed in the end. “Let’s go.”

“Okay.” Lyra smiled as she nodded.

After taking a few steps, she stopped and turned around to look at Jayden. “Jayden, do you want to come along?”

“No way,” Jayden replied in a cold tone.

Lyra’s expression darkened and she lowered her head.

Julien pursed his lips. “If you’re not coming to help, then there’s no dinner for you tonight.”

After saying that, he pulled Lyra into the kitchen.

Jayden felt so upset that he tugged on his hair. He wanted to say “So be it.”, but his stomach was growling and he could not bring himself to say that.
