I ran my fingers through my hair and took a deep breath. I wasn’t sure what I was going to say to the kid. I had never really spoken to any of them one-on-one before. I know these witches and wizards don’t trust me because I’m a vampire, but they are trying their best because I’m with Tessa and because her mother had once trusted me.
