We don’t have time,” Esmeralda said, jumping to her feet. “Rick, you need to listen to me,” she said firmly, staring at my father who was still looking at me with wide eyes as if I had just grown another head right in front of his eyes. “Rick!” She growled through her teeth, drawing his attention.
