[At the Clemente's Mansion, Akira's House]
The lights were flickering the moment Akira entered the house. Her white sneakers had blood on them. There were no sounds; everything was dead silence aside from her heavy breathing. Tears started to stream down her cheeks, along with the cold sweat from anxiousness and fear.
The white-colored house was covered with blood; stains were everywhere as if marking the agony and despair of the humans that were killed. Her trembling knees didn't give up until she arrived at the house's back garden.
It was then that her already trembling hands covered her mouth. And as if her feet became numb, she fell on her knee. Her eyes were wide open at the scene in front of her. The scenery that used to be beautiful in her memory was now painted red.
“A-ah! N-no! No! Rue!---”
Akira opened her eyes, cold sweat streaming down her face. Her eyes were blurry, with tears visible as if she had a nightmare. It took her a minute to recover from the scene in her dreams. She then gazed at her side only to find her maid—her friend who woke her up. Alisson Roman.
“Ali…” her voice rasped, but she still managed to smile sweetly.
Sadness is visible on Alisson's face. She knew that Akira had a nightmare again. Even though it happens all the time, she still can't get used to seeing her friend crying while sleeping. It's been five years, and until now, her friend's heart hasn't healed.
“Thanks for waking me up.” Akira mouthed while moving her hands in a motion to converse with Ali. Since Ali couldn't speak, they had to converse in sign language.
Ali smiled and motioned back, “Good evening, Akira. I'm sorry for waking you up, but the clan leader wants to speak with you.” She explained. It was a half-lie. Ali had been in the room all day long. She intended to wake her up as soon as she noticed Akira was having a nightmare again. She's been doing it for years now and will keep doing it until Akira doesn't have nightmares anymore.
Akira nodded and responded, “Alright. I'll get ready now.” She gets up and stretches.
Her silky black hair waved as soon as she got up, along with her white night dress. Her eyes had clear golden eyes as if the sunset was sparkling through. It appeared golden that shined even brighter when she smiled. Ali's mouth opened slightly in awe at her friend's beauty. It took her seconds to wake up in reality.
“I'll get going now. Just call me if you want my help.” Ali smiled and looked at Akira. She's hoping to help her, but since Akira doesn't want to and wants to do her things alone, Ali exited as soon as Akira nodded.
When Akira was left alone, she immediately slumped on the ground with her weakened and trembling body. She let out a sigh followed by a small sob that only she could hear. The scene in her nightmare flashed like a film in her mind.
[At the office of the clan leader]
Akira stood for a while in front of the huge black door. Her expression was grim because of the headache that always followed her along. The two guards were glancing at her since she had been standing there and not entering. They were anxious and uneasy with the presence of Akira—the villainess successor of the Clemente clan. They want her to leave immediately, but who would like to mess with her? Only one would be crazy to make her leave.
Akira Yumi Clemente, the only successor and the next clan leader of Clemente. She possesses everything—be it strength, wealth, or beauty. There's only one thing she lacks, kindness. She's the evil of evil, as they said, but no one would dare to punish her because she's sly—before you could even speak of her sins, your life would be over.
“Open the door.” Akira's cold voice woke up the already scared guards. They hastily opened the door and tried hard not to make eye contact with the villainess Akira.
When Akira was in the room, the door was closed immediately. The big window is open, filling the room with moonlight and letting a cold breeze in. Akira's hair waved as she gazed to the side where the old man was seated, with his attention only focused on the documents in front of him.
Akira walks to the old man's location. It had been a long time since she had last been in the room, so she just stood there for a short while. When she's content, she then places her fist to her heart—a sign of respect and greeting.
“I've arrived, clan leader.” She uttered in her normal voice—not too cold and not too affectionate. It was then that the old man, Clemente's clan leader, noticed her arrival.
The once grumpy expression of the clan leader softened as soon as he gazed at Akira. He immediately set aside what he was doing, stood before Akira, and tapped her shoulders.
“Akira, my grandchild. You don't have to pay respects like that when it's just us.” He started in a bit of a grumpy voice. He can't accept that Akira, her granddaughter, a cheerful girl in his memories, is now drawing a line and keeping it serious.
Akira sighed at the childishness of his grandfather but still let out a smile. “Alright, grandfather.”
The two sat on the sofa with a glass table between them. There's an expensive teapot and exquisite tea cups on the table. It seems that Akira’s grandfather brewed tea for both of them—chamomile tea.
Akira stared at his grandfather, who was now taking a sip of the tea. The relaxed expression of his grandfather showed, but his face couldn’t hide the tiredness.
Asmodeus Rafael Clemente is the current clan leader and the grandfather of Akira. The great, kind, and respectful leader who took the lead in the war between humans and vampires five years ago.
“How have you been, Akira?” Her grandfather asked after placing the teacup back on the table.
“I'm doing good. I just got back from my recent visit to the frontline. There was this case I've been investigating— the general in the frontline was found dead two months ago.” Akira reminisced about the body of the general. It was a horrible scene, a familiar one, actually. The body doesn't have blood, and there were two marks on the neck.
Asmodeus sighed as his face grew dimmer.
“We've confirmed that a dhampir did it.” She said with furrowed brows. “There were other cases like this in the city, grandfather. We've discovered that there are an increased number of missing women daily. You know what this means, right?”
Her grandfather doesn't know how to react even though he knows what Akira means.
“I think there was a breach. I believe some vampires have already escaped the Riparian zone and sneaked in to mate with our female citizens to produce dhampir.” Akira muttered but enough for her grandfather to hear. Anger is evident in her voice despite having a cold expression.
Dhampir is a breed of humans and pure vampires who have mated. They will have the same abilities as vampires and are much stronger than normal human strength. But they are much different from pure vampires in terms of controlling their desire for blood. They will suck dry the human body until left with nothing but bones. These dhampirs are later called dark dhampir when they are in the phase of creating havoc—seeking human blood like a hungry monster.
Asmodeus's eyes widen, followed by shaking his head, “There’s no way vampires can easily escape that zone. The Eliad wire we built was high and strong enough to restrict their abilities. And we have an ordinance.”
“If that’s so, how can we explain the increasing numbers of dhampirs in the city?” Akira retorted. “I’m sure that those vampires have found ways to escape.”
Asmodeus couldn’t answer. His expression just darkened at the thought that those vampires might already have found a way to escape.
Asmodeus gazed at Akira. His expression changed as if it were a sign of pity toward her granddaughter.
Akira noticed it, “Let's change the topic, shall we? So, what is the reason grandfather had called for me?”
She knows that expression since she has seen it from time to time.
A silence took over them for a while before her grandfather spoke.
“You’re getting married, Akira.” Her grandfather’s solemn expression and bitter words were the answer she received.
She didn’t reply, yet the grim expression on her face was visible.
It was already the middle of the night when Akira's grandfather called to ask for her presence in his office. She thought it was important, yet the topic she’d been avoiding throughout the year was the one she would hear.
Her grandfather continued, “We have no choice, Akira. It's your...fate. I'm sorry.”
It was then that he placed a black envelope sealed with a red color that had a symbol of a crow. As soon as Akira saw it, her eyebrows quickly creased in displeasure. It was a familiar envelope since she had seen it multiple times. The vampire seal.
“It came from the Riparian zone this morning.”
“...”
She bit her lower lip, holding back her emotions. She had a rough idea of the envelope's contents, yet she remained calm despite the burning feeling in her heart. At the very least, she doesn’t want her grandfather to see the sight of her madness toward the vampires or the drastic change in her that was caused by rage.
“Open it.”
With a heavy heart, Akira took the envelope and read the letter. It took her a while to read the contents, but the change in her expression was undeniably terrifying. She clenched her fist, crumbling the letter and envelope as if they were nothing but trash.
Asmodeus's expression is grim. He had foreseen this scene the moment he handed the envelope. He wouldn't want to let Akira know of this letter if it were him. He wants to dispose of it immediately, but doing so would make things worse and more dangerous for Akira.
“Do you think that I’ll comply with these bastards?” She protested, gritting her teeth in anger. The letter came from the vampire king, saying that the marriage must happen in 4 months!
Asmodeus shook his head despite the sadness in his expression. “You must wed the vampire crown prince, Akira.”
Akira clenched her hand, “Why would I?” She asked with pain in her voice. She doesn't understand her grandfather to let the ‘fate’ of old times corner them when they can just kill those vampires.
“...”
As if mocking her situation, a feigned laugh escaped Akira’s mouth. “I won’t marry a monster. Fate? There is no such thing as fate, grandfather. It doesn’t exist. Must I wed a monster just because this time, it is our clan’s turn to offer one woman who possesses sweet blood to them?!” She shouted like a madman.
Her grandfather’s eyes widened. It was the first time he had seen his granddaughter's true feelings since she had been hiding them from him.
It was then that Akira noticed that the golden eyes of her grandfather were dimmer; no hope could be seen in his eyes. Her grandfather in front of her was worn out. The once brave and proud grandfather in her memories was gone as if a withered flower.
‘Are you that tired?’
Akira gritted her teeth and breathed in deeply, “I’m sorry grandfather, but---”
“Then there’s no other choice.” Her grandfather cut her off. “I’ll strip you of your rights as the successor of the next clan leader.”
“What?”
“Akira Yumi Clemente, if you don't marry that man, your rights as the next leader of our clan will be forfeited,” Her grandfather remarked with a serious expression.
Akira’s chest immediately clenched as if she had forgotten how to breathe. Maybe because of shock, she wasn’t able to react right away. That high-pitched sound rang inside her head as she tried to read the expression on her grandfather's face as if he was only joking. However, the reality came to light when her grandfather didn’t laugh nor take back what he had said.
Akira stood up from her seat, “I'll really die if I marry that vampire!” She protested, “You know that I will never return alive once I enter that goddamn place, I will never return alive!”
“Akira!” Asmodeus shouted, but that wasn't enough for Akira to stop voicing her feelings.
“Please, grandfather… We have soldiers to counter those bloodsuckers. If you let me lead them with my strength, we can wipe their existence.” Akira pleaded, hoping to persuade her grandfather.
But it seems like it wasn't enough.
“You don't understand, Akira.”
Akira bit her lips enough to make them bleed because of anger, “Then make me understand! Tell me your reason. Is this worth my life exchanging for?”
“...”
“Yes, you're always like this,” Akira said with a bitter smile. “But I still can't, grandfather. You know what those vampires are capable of. Do you think his race will stay still once I marry that damn monster? No! They have already broken the ordinance and keep invading our city to increase their kind!”
Asmodeus closed his eyes. From what Akira had said, there was a sting in his head and heart. He slowly opened his eyes and gazed at Akira. “Let's talk again once you've cleared your mind.”
“No. This must end tonight ---”
“Escort her out.”
That’s the last thing Akira heard before she was escorted by the two guards outside his grandfather's office.
*****
“Miss Akira is going out, clan leader.” The young man with dark brown and forest green eyes reported to Asmodeus. “Should I follow her?”
“No. Let her be. She needs time to think.” Asmodeus replied, looking at the picture frame in his hand. “Do you also think that my decision is wrong?”
“If it were me, I'd also do the same.” The young man smiled, “and if we're talking about the vampire prince… I'll even bet my life that Miss Akira is safe with him.”
Asmodeus looks at the moon, “It's a good thing that the prince is a half-vampire; at the very least, Akira won't kill him.”
The young man smiled and nodded, “That's right. Miss Akira can't kill the prince since he has human blood in him.”
The loud music of the nightclub greeted Akira as soon as she walked in, which is expected for a lounge. As she scanned the area, she found luxurious interiors and wealthy individuals, as well as different lights that seemed to dance in time with the music, with the occasional dimming of the surroundings, which she liked. ‘Asaiah night bar.’ Raikan City's only famous nightclub. It is notable because it cannot be touched by authorities, even though numerous criminal activities occur here. Name it; it doesn't matter if it is drugs, violence, or human trafficking. Akira walked right up to the bar counter and glanced at the men and women shouting and dancing in the center of the bar. They're behaving strangely, which she finds enticing as the smoke causes the surroundings to become hazier over time. “What's yours, Miss?” the bartender asked. “Ten glasses of manhattan.” After a few minutes of receiving her order, the bartender handed her the glasses of liquor she had asked for. Akira s
Akira opened her eyes sleepily. She groaned when her head suddenly spun and ached as if it was about to split open— a hangover. “Ali…” She called sleepily, but there was no response. She sat and scanned the surroundings to find Ali, But instead of finding her, she realized that the room was unfamiliar. The room is pretty big and has a fashionable style and furniture. The ones that caught Akira's eyes were the picture frames with no pictures and books that were arranged well on the mini bookshelves. “This is not my room.” She whispered to herself in panic. A soft plumpy black sheet covered her, and when she removed it, her eyes widened. “Why are my clothes….” She said in disbelief. Her clothes changed into oversized white sleeves and a familiar scent, yet she couldn't pinpoint what it was. Next to her, a black tuxedo is lying as if it belonged to a person. ‘Tonight… I'll make an exception.’ She suddenly remembered the line of the man she danced with. Her heart started to beat a
Akira looked at Leon with a suspicious look. Her expression from earlier with trust changed drastically to distrust and anger towards him. The vampire prince in front of her—who is supposedly living in the Riparian zone. Her intuition is correct that vampires can somewhat escape the zone. Her heart suddenly thumps from anxiety, albeit faint. Akira also thought and was wary that Leon might be responsible for the women missing in the city. ‘Is he a vampire pervert who mates with humans?’ ‘Should I just kill him?’ Akira grinned at her evil thoughts. It's perfect timing for her; a prince who will be the next king of the vampires getting killed by a human is enough to entice her. ‘A pact without a leader is bound to collapse anyway.’ But what stopped her killing instinct was the image of her grandfather. ‘Damn it!’ Akira took a deep breath and looked at Leon, “You said you have a deal with me? Before I hear it, let me ask you a question.” “Alright.” Leon agreed, which made Akir
“What are you doing here, Miss Akira?” The voice of a man with forest-green eyes was the first thing Akira heard when the man got out of the black car. “You took your time coming here, Mr. Seneca. An hour!” Akira said in her sarcastic voice. She fans her face, which is blushing red because she stayed too long outside. Seneca Rigel Dawn, her competent and reliable secretary, walks toward her, holding a white umbrella. He is the one Akira had called. Seneca, who looks confused, turns his head to Leon, who is smiling at him. He immediately avoided him. “If I may ask, who is this man?” Seneca asked with his composed voice. Even though he knew who Leon was, he pretended not to know. “Ah, that man. He's the vampire crown prince.” Akira responded nonchalantly. She took the umbrella from Seneca and walked towards the car without waiting for a reply. She couldn't wait to leave the goddamn place far from the city. She's irritated as to why a vampire should carry her! As soon as she go
Akira stared blankly at the ceiling. It was late afternoon, but she still lay on her bed lazily; it was evident in her tired eyes that she didn't want to get up. Mainly she still reminisced about what she and her grandfather had argued about again during their conversation when they barely made up yesterday. “A bodyguard?” She scoffed and sat on her bed. She's smiling as if she can't believe her situation. She will have a bodyguard when she's one of the strongest people in her clan and the city. She turned her head on the door when it opened after a knock. Alisson came in with a smile and a tray of lunch with her. She set the lunch in front of Akira, “You have to eat; you didn't come for breakfast.” Akira sighed, “Ali, I feel this is the biggest problem in my life right now.” She signed language with a devastated expression. Alisson smiled, “I heard about it.” Akira's eyes widened, “What? When? With whom did you hear it?” “Well, everyone has been talking about it this morning
Akira stared blankly at Leon who made a big revelation. She couldn't process what she had heard and she absolutely refused to take it in. After a while, Akira laughs and places her hand on her mouth. “You? My bodyguard?” She scoffed and pointed her finger at him. “Dream on!” But Leon didn't take back his words or react to her. Instead, he smiled and walked closer to her. Intimidated by him, she froze on her spot. And with the blink of an eye, Leon was able to take the car keys from her pocket. She only realized it when Leon already got in the car and started the engine. And Leon mouthed at her, “Get in, M-I-L-A-D-Y.” Akira fumes in irritation but still gets in the car. She sat in the back seat instead of the passenger seat. Leon glanced at Akira through the rearview mirror. Akira's looking outside with her arms still crossed. Leon let out a small chuckle. “Hey, vamp,” Akira called while still looking outside. “Hm?” Leon responded. “Is what you said earlier true? About the b
“Follow me.” Akira coldly said to Leon. Akira's resolve is to get used to it rather than to be stressed about it. What can she even do now that Leon has become her bodyguard? None. She might as well make use of the new change. Her three chances to kill him will start now and her revenge on him since he chooses to get near her. Leon walked right behind her, making her somewhat amused since she only saw those bodyguard things in movies. Now that she's experiencing it herself, she's excited but has to hide it, especially since her bodyguard is unfortunately a vampire. They head to her mansion with a car where of course Leon drives. They immediately arrive in time. Leon is a fast yet careful driver, unlike Akira who is known for being a reckless driver—a bad driver. Fortunately, she's not getting into an accident despite those. Akira then toured Leon to the whole big mansion. Her mansion is composed of a fifth floor, with different rooms for her bedroom, the employee's room, her offi
“Is your ankle alright?” Leon asked and gazed at her feet. Akira felt something that made her contemplate. She doesn't want to answer Leon, especially since she doesn't know what to do after last night's argument and how mysterious it was for her ankle to have a bandage. It's making her guilty for some reason. “Yeah…” She responded shortly and then started to walk. She's walking very slowly since she doesn't want her ankle to get worse. Leon is beside her. And in her peripheral vision, he's looking at her while they walk. It was also early in the morning. Her maids started to clean the hall as carefully and quietly as possible. They didn't want to upset her, but their gaze was focused on her and Leon. “Who is the man beside Miss Akira?” One of the maids whispers. “I heard he's the one. The one and only bodyguard of our Miss.” “He's good-looking for a bodyguard.” They continued to chat. Akira hears it all, and it can be seen that she's pissed. She was about to lecture those maids
“You should get dressed first,” Leon said, smiling, “I’ll wait outside.”Akira nodded and then stared at Leon’s back when he left the room. When she is finally alone, she gets up from the bed and prepares herself. She set aside her emotion—anger. It didn’t take too long for her to get ready. When she came out of the room, as expected, Leon was already waiting for her and Loren, who would lead them to the interrogation room. It wasn’t far enough for them to use a car, they just walked for five minutes until they arrived. It was located at the end of the camp—where no one could easily sneak in as well as spy on the interrogation room since it was heavily guarded. At first, the three of them entered a tent that looked ordinary, however, when they got in, what greeted them was an elevator that seemed rusty and could have collapsed anytime. Leon is confused but Akira and Loren remain composed since they have been here before.Loren tapped her identification card on the right side of the e
Leon was sitting on the chair beside the bed where Akira was lying unconscious. He looked at her helplessly as he slowly held her hands. He immediately felt that warmth that he had dreamt of before. Leon then leaned in, and with both his hands now, he held her hand tight. “Wake up, Akira. Please,” he whispers as he shuts his eyes. It has been two days since Akira fell unconscious on the day of their mission. After restraining the target damphir in the parking lot, Leon immediately goes after Akira, only to find her in a fight with the dark damphir. And that's when Leon made himself a shield to protect her. But… “I'm sorry I couldn't protect you well," he whispered again. Tiredness could be seen on his face. He has bloodshot eyes, a sign that he cried for some time. His droopy shoulders replaced his well-mannered posture. He stayed in that position for a minute until he gazed at Akira's face when he felt a gaze. His eyes stopped at the golden eyes that were looking at him. A colo
The operation started. Akira was the bait, while Leon and Loren were to wait and ambush the damphir in the bar. They just arrived at the parking lot of the bar. Akira was seated in the passenger seat, unbuckling her seatbelt. “Be careful, Akira.” Suddenly, Leon left after saying that. Akira was gazing after him and felt strange. It kept happening, the sudden unwelcome feelings again. She shrugged her thoughts and soon left the car with Loren, who had heard what had just happened. “It’s best if you two are on the bar's upper level so that you guys can see me on the dance floor. I’ll be directing the attention on me so you’ll easily see me.” Akira had said, tucking the strand of her hair on her ear. Loren nodded, while Leon did not respond and only stared at her. That made Akira gulped and then looked away. “Let’s see each other after this….” Akira said and finally left the two. As usual, it was noisy inside the bar. But unlike before, when Akira visited here, she felt somethin
The morning came, and Akira already prepared herself. Today is the day they will depart to Asaiah night bar to investigate. She was wearing a soldier uniform of her clan. It was a spare clothes since all her clothes were smashed together in the car when ambushed. Akira looked at the right side of her bed, Leon’s bed. He was nowhere to be found after last night. ‘But if it wasn’t for your grandfather’s order, would you still stay here in one tent with me?’ Leon’s question last night popped out from Akira’s thought. She stopped cleaning her lanesra. Her brows arched, remembering how she couldn’t answer. It was just one question, yet her mind and heart fought—to find an exact answer. She was wondering why she couldn’t answer. She could’ve said she would not stay and that staying in one room with Leon frustrates and repulse her. She could’ve said that but remained silent until he left. ‘Why didn’t I reject his question?’ Akira pursed her lips and then continued to clean her lanesra
Akira along with Leon, two elders, and the three soldiers earlier have been listening to the report that was being presented by the general, Cedrick. ‘He was just appointed yesterday and yet he prepared all of this?’ Akira thought and scanned the organized reports in front of her. She couldn’t believe that the general was capable of doing a great job upon being appointed. “Based on the investigation of our soldiers, there are three places which have increased reports of the sighting of dhampir as well as missing women.” Cedrick, looking at the map, encircled the three places with a red marker.Akira continued to listen as she stared at the three places. She then chuckled and the attention was brought to her.“Those three places are….”“Yes, what you are thinking is right.” Cedrick suddenly said, pointing to the three places again, “It’s near the Clemente clan. At first, the soldiers aren’t able to realize this because the interval of the missing women is random and the cases are too
Akira firmly closed her eyes when Leon bit her neck. She had to hold her breath the moment she felt it, the pain— followed by the increasing temperature of her neck and her heart rate increasing. Her mind wasn’t in chaos like the last time and most of all, she…didn't feel repulsed. Akira opened her eyes when she felt that he was done. She was about to touch her neck when Leon grabbed her arm. Her heart was shocked because she almost instinctively looked at him. She’s not letting herself look at him for a while, especially if there is still blood in his mouth. The last time she looked, she immediately passed out after seeing the blood on Leon’s lips. “Don’t touch it for now,” Leon said in his soft voice. “Alright…” She responded, still not looking at him. Leon noticed this and did not remove his hands from Akira’s arm. He only stares at her. “Why are you not looking at me?” He asked, confused and anxious that maybe, Akira felt disgusted at the sight. Akira sighed as she looked at
The rain eventually poured as if telling Akira that she didn't have much of a choice but to let Leon carry her. Akira and Leon stare at each other under the pouring rain. It was then that Leon offered his hand—reaching for hers. “Will you let me carry you now?” Leon said as a warm smile flashed in his mouth. Akira avoided his gaze but eventually gave in. She reaches out her hand to him and then slowly, Leon walks in front of her. The heartbeat that Akira had heard was vivid once again—but this time, she knew that it was hers. Leon carried her—it was a bridal-style carry. Akira was, of course, awkward in that position. The closeness with him was enough to trouble her mind and there followed the thoughts that she couldn't even think of back then. “You should hold on well, Akira. At this rate, I'm afraid you'll fall.” Leon remarked when Akira was not holding onto him. Akira immediately thought of that time when they were escaping and fighting the vampires. The speed of that time wa
It has been an hour since they left the mansion. Leon, who was facing front, took a glance at Akira who had been silent. He found her sleeping while there were reports in her hand. Leon slowed the car and breathed in while staring at her. Surely, Akira let her guard down around him or maybe she was too tired, especially after their fight. Leon then stopped the car. He unbuckled his seatbelt and got near Akira who he noticed was uncomfortable in her position. Leon removed the reports that Akira was carrying and placed them somewhere. After that, he placed his hands on her head and slowly, brought her to a more comfortable position. Leon’s attention was caught by the gun, placed near Akira’s side. He stared at it for a while and when he broke that gaze, he felt the tension coming from Akira. “What the hell are you doing?” Akira said while glaring at Leon who was in front of her. Leon immediately turned his gaze which caught Akira off guard. Seeing his face up close was enough to ma
Akira once again woke up in her room. The memories of what had happened during the time she intended to kill Leon came rushing in on her mind as if embarrassing her first in the morning. She had to cover herself with a pillow to let out her internal screaming. She could not believe she had lost, and one of her three chances was gone. There were only two chances left. Akira irritatedly sat, her black hair quite messy, “That vamp...” She whispered and recalled what Leon did then: "...he sure doesn’t want to die. How dare he use jiu-jitsu that time.” Akira let out a deep sigh as she caressed her neck. ‘I should’ve used a weapon...that dagger.’ Akira thought with a grim expression on her face. She’s regretting now that she didn’t use weapons. Although it hurts her pride, she can’t deny it because Leon’s strength and ability clearly surpass the strength of a human—and maybe, Leon’s strength is much more than his race since he is the vampire crown prince. And one more bothered Akira, wh
