Grant

I was talking to Dexter and the Royal Beta at our table.

All ranked members and the distinguished guests from the royal pack were sitting with us. Only Caro was elsewhere. Maybe she needed some time to get used to everything that came with her new position. Once Angeline was by my side as my Luna, Caro would warm up as well. They had grown closer in the last weeks, as they sparred together, and Caro even taught Angeline archery.

“Can’t you say you are sick, leave this party, and go to my Angel? She is a virgin like me, Grant! And none of us can wait to get wet and nice,” Stormy barked, not for the first time.

“I can’t leave my own ascension party, Stormy. What kind of Alpha would say that he is sick and leave? I am not a pup!” I tried to argue.

“Then tell them I am sick. Say that your wolf got rabies. It happens, even to the strongest and sexiest of the Alphas!”

I dismissed my crazy wolf and paid attention to the royal Beta’s words. “This pack is promising, Grant. Officer L

Angeline I couldn’t find Grant last night. All I did for the rest of the night was drinking Fairy wine, talking to Jojo and seeing Caro dance with a hot blond warrior. She surely had a happy ending last night, while for me not even my drunk fingers worked. I was too frustrated, and tipsy to go all the way to the wetlands and take matters into my own hands. Late in the morning, I headed to the kitchen to have a huge mug of coffee. I sighed deeply. No sign of Grant yet. Damn if men weren’t frustrating! “That’s what I tell you. Basing your life on men will only screw you and not in the way you want to be screwed, Angeline. You have two wolves, girl! You don’t need any Alpha, or any man. Golden-fur and I are here for you!” Cal told me and I nodded inwardly. She was right. My experience with men, especially relying on them, was a disaster. I should stop insisting on making the same mistakes, right? A startled-looking Jojo sat by my side, and I put my mug down. The poor girl was as pal

Angeline I hit the punching bag in my room, jumping to the side, ready to score another hit. Damn! Grant was unbelievable! My leg reached high, landing a beautiful kick. I repeated the mantra in my mind, ‘I don’t care. We aren’t even together, we were never a thing!’ It didn’t matter how many times I told myself these words, it still hurt. It hurt deeply because I liked him! Not even being rejected by my fated mate and dying taught me better. One more punch, stronger than the last one and the punching bag .. . towards me fast, hitting me in the face. What a joke I was! “Don’t be that hard on yourself, Angeline. Without hope, no one can truly live.” Dora told me. “I’m with golden-fur on this one. Don’t beat yourself. Beat him, the bag, whoever, just not yourself.”“Beat back?” I asked . “Yes, he slept with Gina, so you should sleep with someone else, get even. Then you ride him and let go of him. Move on! Take this pent-up lust out of your body,” Cal suggested. Maybe she was t

Angeline After a few hours of avoiding Grant in the car, we arrived at the Opal Moon Pack, passing by the familiar village, we reached the large Alpha’s house. “Seeing this peacock Alpha’s mansion, I can’t stop thinking of how it would look on fire,” Cal barked in my mind. “Cal!” I exclaimed, shaking my head. “What?” she asked casually, narrowing her eyes at me. “Don’t tempt me. Remember what I promised Grant. Besides that, many omegas live here, and the beta couple. The guy is okay and the beta female might be a wolf-Barbie, but she doesn’t deserve to burn just because she’s basic,” I replied with a sigh. “It only means that we have to scream fire, so everyone leaves the house and then we set it on fire!” Cal suggested. “Cal, that won’t bring any of us anything good.” Dora shook her muzzle.Damn, how I wanted to do what Cal suggested, and burn all Aaron’s expensive clothes, golden watches, and his other ridiculous stuff to the ground. Clenching my fists into tight balls, I ga

Angeline“Are you okay?” he asked in my mind, his hands roaming up and down my back gently.“I am alright, it’s just part of the fake couple thing,” I lied, biting the inner side of my mouth nervously. “Btw, Dora, can you mind-link Julia? Now that we are close to her, it should be possible, no?” I asked. Dora could mind-link Stormy and Grant, so it should work with my best friend as well. “No. Your link with the Opal Moon Pack broke when you died, so I can’t mind-link any of the wolves from here,” she explained, driving me confused. “Wait, how about your enhanced mind-link powers and the fact we can do it with Grant?” I narrowed my eyes inwardly. “I just can use this mind-link ability with some people. Sorry, Angeline.” Golden-Wolfie sounded dismissed. Hmmm, sure she was hiding something! “Dinner is served, if you don’t skip this part and go directly to ravish your female,” Aaron laughed, looking at Grant. In response, Grant tightened his hold on me. We all sat around the dinin

  • My Unfated Mate   37. An Unpleasant Surprise

GrantI exhaled deeply in frustration, running my restless hands down my hair. It would be hard, almost impossible, to sleep with the lingering scent of her arousal perfuming the room and my raging erection. “Naughty Angel! We should spank her sweet butt for that and then soothe the sting with kisses and caresses,” Stormy barked in my mind. My virgin wolf was even more frustrated than me, and the mental image he sent of her round ass didn’t help me at all. “I wish we could do that. Fuck, even having her in my arms and kissing her would be enough!” I understood why she was mad and didn’t want to be with me after what happened with Gina, yet she led me to a dead end. “A hard and throbbing end. Now we have to work on winning her, wowing her again and making her understand that the night with Gina didn’t mean anything. Put your tail to work, Grant!” Stormy added in my mind. “Stormy, I also want to win Angeline back and make her ours as soon as possible, but our focus is little Stell

  • My Unfated Mate   38. Stella

Angeline When I saw her, I ran closer. It was stronger than me. Relief and sadness overwhelmed me, bringing tears to my eyes. “Stella!” The strangled exclamation came from deep inside of me, attracting her little eyes to me. She was safe; she was fine. But seeing her hurt my heart. It was a reminder that I failed her — I wasn’t there for her. She was so little, but didn’t have anyone to protect her, since Julia wasn’t any better than a were-snake! My poor sweet pup! Bitting the hell out of my lips, I held back my tears. “Hello,” I said, crouching down. Of course, she wouldn’t recognize me and it hurt even more. She was in front of an old wooden playhouse, with the pink tea-set I gave her for her latest birthday. “Hello, lady,” she replied, giving me a tiny pink cup. “Do you like banana tea?” she giggled, and I nodded. Then she poured some imaginary tea in my cup. Sweet pup! A tear rolled down my cheek; I couldn’t contain it anymore. “Don’t be sad, Angeline. She is safe and sou

Grant “No. You can’t. I’m sure you will find another pup your mate likes. Better yet, another mate that isn’t bare and useless,” Aaron replied with a loud chuckle. Damn! I thought it would work. Maybe he didn’t let us adopt her because of Julia and his relationship with her. “At least we tried. Now we should devise a brilliant kidnapping, or better saying, pupnapping plan!” Stormy barked in my mind. That was one of his crazy ideas and something that wouldn’t work. “Why wouldn’t that work, Grant? I don’t have a vision like me! It’s a brilliant plan, I’ve already started thinking about it. We pick her up from—” Stormy barked. I cut my wolf off, “We would eventually get caught, the matter would be brought to the king and Angeline wouldn’t only lose Stella, but have her identity revealed and go to jail. Even though she is little Stella’s sister, she isn’t allowed to take the pup out of the pack in such a way, and you know that. They might spare me since I am an Alpha, but the sam

  • My Unfated Mate   40. Casually

AngelineI needed to feel alive. I needed Grant and his hands on me, his kisses and that hardness pressed against my pussy. Well, it should feel even better inside, right?Grant’s hands reached to my hips and he squeezed them deliciously hard, his tongue caressing mine as he sucked my lips in a rough way. Damn! I really liked wild Grant! He nibbled at my lips a couple of times and his lips travelled down to my neck. He took his time kissing my skin, leaving a heated way of nibbles and licks. Once again, his kisses made my birthmark tingle, the warm and sweet sensation radiated through my body, making me feel giddy. Leaning up, he pulled his shirt off, revealing all those defined muscles I’d caught myself drooling at more than once. My eager fingers ran from his muscular shoulder to his rippled six-packs, taking their time tracing the way of hair from his belly button to the hem of his boxer shorts. Do people call it the pathway of heaven? If not, they should, especially in his case.

GrantAngeline and I proceeded to check the ruined car. Surveying its surroundings, she found a few pieces of torn clothes.“I can’t find my phone, but it’s not that important. I can always count on Dora’s super-reaching mind-link abilities.” She shrugged her shoulders.Fortunately, the two elite guards who escorted us here weren’t dead, only harmed to the extent of unconsciousness. The king’s army transported them to the Royal Pack where they could receive immediate treatment. They would be fine.I hauled another sign of relief. Losing lives lives of my pack was a fucking bane, a burden I would never bear with ease. And I shouldn’t. Their lives matter and always will. After gazing around the half-burnt trees of the empty meadow, Angeline joined me, melting into my embrace. We were finally alone. I am sorry I couldn’t protect you!” her last words were a distant echo, and so was the icy pain spreading through my soul as I wasn’t able to reply to her. She was already gone. I could never tell her that she was enough and I loved her too.I was so empty without my Sia, my soul unable to reach hers.More words ricocheted in my mind, from the moment I first met Dora, but refused to let go of my first wolf. “Sia is gone. She sacrificed herself in an attempt to save you. Her soul shielded yours, and consequently, she took the hardest hit of Elijah’s dark magic.”Sia sacrificed herself for me!“And I will do it as many times as it takes!” Cal growled, lunging on Elijah.“No!” I screamed in my mind, I couldn’t lose my Cal-Sia again. They were the same wolf, even though they seemed like polar opposites, they always d

AngelineI had to spill it out! After taking a long and deep breath, I started, “Grant, I’m not your friend. We can’t be friends—”He interrupted me with a low growl. “Sorry, I couldn’t control the growl. I know I’m imposing Angeline. I have no right over you and I shouldn’t be here when you told me not to. After we talk to the king, I will be out of your life.” He didn’t do a good job concealing the sorrow in his voice.“No!”Grant’s head reared back, forehead creasing at my protest as he threw me a confused look.I slurred, “I mean … that’s not what I want. I can’t be your friend because it’s too little and I want so much more. I want everything.
