Chapter Forty-Nine: The Make or Break Decision

April 10, 1958.

I met up on a secret date again with William, and he asked me how was the Bachelorette Party. I told him that every girls, including the bride-to-be, had so much fun at the party.

I also told him that Katherine wants to be my Matron of Honor, and she wants to be in our civil and church wedding.

William agrees right away because he knows that Katherine and I have been inseparable, and we are best friends for life.

He also added that he is willing to wait until my contract finishes and once it's over, they will get married in a civil rites first, then they will start planning and preparing for their church wedding.

I can't help but to feel guilty about the thought of not marrying him right away. Heaven knows I want to get married to him right away, but the legalities is just holding me back...

May 8, 1958.

I slowly opened my eyes, and I was a bit surprised when I found out that I was at a certain hospital room.
