Chapter 42

Logan's POV

I walked briskly from the hospital to my chambers. I was deep in thought and I had almost walked past my chambers. A slight slip jolted me back to awareness, and I almost fell. Looking around, I realized I was in front of my chambers.

Goodness! I ran my hand through my hair and made my way in.

"Who are you!?" The guards at the gate seized me as soon as I approached the gates. One of them flipped down my hood and they all gasped.

"My Prince!" They yelled in horror and released me immediately, bowing so low in fear.

"Good job," I tapped two on the shoulders and strutted in.

All the guards in my chambers gave me a puzzled look as they set their eyes on me. They recognized me in time because my hood was already pulled down. None of them said a word. They bowed as I made my way through. Only Tera, my personal guard, lifted up his head looking surprised.
