Chapter 267: No Stitches (Katelyn's POV)

(Katelyn’s POV)

Ryder looked back to see what Jenna was talking about as I shook my head. "We can't. What would we tell them at the hospital? I look like I've escaped from a fucking serial killer or something. They gave Ryder so much shit last time... I don't want to go through that again."

"Let's see," Ryder said, reaching out his hand for my arm.

Reluctantly, I held it out for him to inspect.

It was bad... I knew it was bad. I'd been trying not to pay too much attention to it. I didn't want to give it any opportunity to slow me down and I definitely didn't want to see the blood. But now, as I looked down at the torn, ragged limb, it was abundantly clear that I definitely needed stitches.

The sight of it made me feel sick and I got that swimming feeling in my head like I might pass out, but now wasn't the time. We still had to get out of here. We didn't have time for doctors and nurses and fucking Pantsuit Barbie to ask me a million questions. I was fully prepared to just grit my tee
