89 Seven Months of Madness

"As I mentioned before, if you try to run away again, I’m going to punish you," Michael said calmly, though there was something dangerous in his eyes.

"These last three days didn’t count as punishment?" I shot back, staring at him in disbelief.

For the past three days, I’d felt like my body was on the verge of breaking. Michael's relentless energy had left me feeling completely drained, like a rag doll that had been tossed around and discarded. I remembered when Kate had asked me what it was like to sleep with a Lycan prince. I hadn’t known how to answer then, but now? Now I knew.
