Chapter 5 The Feud Continues

After sending Gu Yize away, Su Qinglan took a taxi back to Gu Corporation. However, when she passed by the parking lot, a figure suddenly appeared from the dark and covered her mouth and nose from behind.

Su Qinglan suddenly widened her eyes, but before she could struggle, she completely fainted.

She was woken up by a basin of water splashed on her.

Su Qinglan opened her eyes and found that her hands and feet were tied.

Just as she opened her eyes, the dark surroundings suddenly lit up. The blazing white light shone directly on her face, causing her to subconsciously narrow her eyes.

Her surroundings were filled with the equipment for filming and were aimed at her.

She could see that she was tied to a chair, drenched, like a lamb waiting to be slaughtered.

"Good sister, how have you been?" A familiar and sharp voice suddenly rang in her ears.

Su Qinglan fixed her gaze and saw a woman wearing sunglasses and a sun hat slowly walking towards her.

Although she covered herself very tightly, Su Qinglan still recognized her at a glance. She was the pregnant woman she met in the hospital today, Yan Yibai's wife.

"What are you trying to do?" Su Qinglan's eyes were cold as she looked at her coldly.

Su Cheng chuckled. She approached Su Qinglan and whispered into her ear, "Yibai said that you forgot about the past? Is it true? How can you forget such an engraved memory? So I am trying to help you remember it."

Su Qinglan felt danger approaching. Su Cheng clapped her hands, and from who knows where three sturdy men wearing masks walked out.

Su Qinglan's heart tightened. She said sternly, "How dare you!"

With that, Su Cheng waved her hand and let those people open the equipment.

After the equipment was turned on, the lights became more and more intense. The blazing white light shone in Su Qinglan's eyes, and the men also stepped forward with laughter. With a tearing sound, they tore Su Qinglan's shirt apart.

Su Qinglan was so stimulated by this scene that she suddenly lost her voice. It was as if she was suffocating and her brain was instantly short of oxygen.

Then, an unbearable and despicable memory surged into her mind.

"Stupid woman, I told you not to run around! Why are you running around again! Fortunately, my daddy woke up. Otherwise, you would have been bullied!" Gu Yize cried out and plunged into Su Qinglan's arms.

Su Qinglan completely woke up. The past had broken through the suppression of hypnosis and awakened in her mind.

She suppressed all kinds of complicated emotions and looked up. Su Cheng and the others were no longer around, and there were only Gu Jinchi's two bodyguards.

Sure enough, that evil woman, Su Cheng, had always been astute and vigilant, and it would probably not be that easy to bring her to justice.

Gu Jinchi followed closely behind them and helped them into the car.

Back to Gu Family, Su Qinglan went into the bathroom to take a shower and changed into a new set of clothes.

After she came out, she cooked chicken wings and rice packages for Gu Yize that he had been longing for, and she also fried French fries for him.

Gu Yize was very satisfied with the food and was sensible to not mention anything that happened today.

After dinner, Su Qinglan did not go to work overtime for the first time. She played the game with Gu Yize for a while and then made him sleep at the sleeping hour.
