Chapter 87 The Negotiation For Freedom

"Ugh, where am I," muttered Josephine, talking to herself. She held her dizzy head and groped her body, trying to find cuts or bruises.

Apart from aches and pains in several places, Josephine was sure she was fine after checking several times to be sure. She is a nurse and she can tell when something is wrong with her body.

Josephine woke up again to find herself lying in a pure white room. Her movement was free, but Josephine found the door locked and guarded. She didn't know where or what time it was.

"Hey, open the door!" Josephine shouted as she pounded on the door which was made of thick and sturdy wood. Josephine tried to remember where she had seen a door this solid and thick before. Hard to hear anything outside this door.

She knew someone was behind the door, because there was a knock on something against the floor and there were shadows under the door, like someone was walking back and forth. Maybe it was a guard.
