Chapter 123 The Stolen Diary

"This is the last," said Flower and she clicked on the camera. "Okay, its done!"

"Let's go now," whispered Rain while holding Flower's hand. "I'm not sure Sky can hold Lucas any longer."

Flower put the pink cover diary back where it belonged and quickly walked after Rain. She hung the digital camera strap around her neck. That thing is the most valuable thing and must be protected now, because it holds something that can beat the people who always bother her mother.

Rain holds Flower's hand and they crept out of the backyard Lucas's house and through the wooden fence that separated Lucas's yard from the neighbor's backyard, then crossed the side of the house and emerged into the front yard of the house next door to Lucas' house.

The houses in Lucas' neighborhood use the cul-de-sac concept, so most of them don't have a front fence, only a back and side fence that separates the area from one house to another so it's not too open.
