Third Person’s POV:

“Um, well, Riven. After visiting Stefan, I came to check on you before but you were not here”, Giselle replied with a small smile, not letting him know that she had become an FBI agent and was following him around in the dark forest.

“Yeah, I went out” Riven spoke honestly.

“Can I ask you where?” Giselle asked, her voice sounded a bit tensed but she didn’t let her smile fade.

“Of course, you can. You are my mate”. Riven caressed her cheek gently.

“I went to the forest to meet Erica. She called me and told me. She needs my help and it’s urgent. But it was just her gibberish talk! I regret going now”, Riven said with a deep sigh of frustration.

“Don’t you think I could doubt you if you took her name in front of me?” Giselle asked with a fake smile.

“I swear to God, nothing happened between us, Giselle! I just went there and came back! I didn’t call her here because I didn’t want to hurt you. There is nothing between us! I.. I..” Riven spoke everything in one breath,
