The corner of his lip twitched into a smirk, “Do you really think you can hide this from me forever, Ira?”

He folded the paper and kept it in his pocket before leaving her room.

At café Platinum,

Vera dropped Giselle at the café. She was so excited about meeting Nate’s mate that she nearly ran inside the café.

She looked around and found her best friend marching nervously in the room.

When Natalie’s eyes fell on Giselle, she smiled. Giselle waved her hand with a bright smile and went towards her.

They hugged each other and Natalie guided her towards their table.

“So, where is your mystery mate? I am so excited about finally meeting him! A guy can handle you! Can you believe it?” Giselle was beyond excited to meet Natalie's mate.

When they reached the table, she felt like she had been hit by a truck. Her eyes were popping out of her sockets.
