Elena closed the gate and caught a bouquet of roses was laid through her sight. Her mind was alarmed and running some flagrant suspicions. She picked it up from the front door rug before she unlocked the door. It was ten at night. She just arrived home from the campus and was wondering who put the bouquet of roses without sender’s name but it had a tag ‘congratulations for you’. She looked around but the quietness of the night having along with some dimmed street lamps made the night crawling around the neighborhood where she lived quite shivering to be honest. She only saw a silver Jeep entering the garage of the house they bought from Mrs. Ruth, the previous owner. Just a few seconds after she locked the gate… ‘I hope nobody’s there!’ she checked her surroundings and she grabbed the broom with her. She walked to surround the front yard, sneaked into the locked back door. It was empty… She could exhale in a relieved way when her suspicious mind wasn’t proved right
Angelo closely landed his kick on Elena’s waist. He halted his breath, if he hadn’t been aware enough to pull away his kick from her, he probably bumped her hard to the floor. It already two hours from ten in the morning. “We break!” Angelo walked and got his tumbler bottle. He stopped their practice as he found Elena shattering her focus. Elena puffed and wiped her face with hands. “Something bothering you?” Angelo asked and threw the water bottle to Elena. She caught it. She sat on the floor at the point she was bent down by Angelo. They were in the room to practice some defense mechanism skills. “You wanna talk about it?” Angelo sipped his water and sat on the bench, they were opposite each other just in a few edges. Elena wiped her lips with back hand. “I just…” Elena paused, gazed at Angelo who also stared at him. Angelo smirked. “You can count on me to listen you…I will…” he zipped in his mouth. Elena sighed. “I felt like I am being haunted!” A
“Miss Elena”. Elena stopped walking and turned around. She saw Mrs. Bright was catching her steps up. The campus corridor was quite busy with some stuff scattering around, doing their own. “Could we talk for awhile in my room please?” Mrs. Bright smiled at her. She appeared much softer in her voice than a few evenings inside her class. Elena was stunned to find Mrs. Bright approaching her with a big smile on that lady. “Yes, Mrs. Bright?” Elena grinned. “Of course, Mrs. Bright.” Elena followed Mrs. Bright and she found Mrs. Bright intentionally slowed down her pace to walk with her side by side. The woman with a blonde hair style back to Marilyn Monroe’s style opened the door room. “Make yourself, Miss Elena”. She stood by the door, waited for Elena and closed the door. That woman moved her hand with nails polished in red and signed Elena to take a seat in front of her desk while she poured two cups of coffee. Elena rubbed her eyebrows and watched ev
“Another blackmail?” Edward sipped the coffee as Bernard checked the email and his face started becoming stiff. Bernard sniffed. Both of them were sitting inside Edward’s room. Morning briefing would start in thirty minutes. The Harvest Co. located at the building ‘Sky Tunnel’, one of the Philippe’s properties. “It’s about the distribution restrictions, southern districts are encountering some problems. Some truck drivers are in a strike”. Edward curled his nose. Hearing Bernard report from email sent by the transportation management in the southern district branch. “They are in a strike?” He leaned forward. “What’s going on?” Bernard inhaled. Looking at the screen of his laptop before changing to Edward. “I am communicating with Jason, Mr. Edward. He said that he’s investigating it!” Edward thudded his fingers on the table and his chin was rested on the clenched hand. “Find it out, please. We should know what their demand. We couldn’t let it happens much
Dante lit up his cigarette. Turning his head back to a man who was sitting in front of him. “I think right now Edward Philippe will approach surely his down curve.” He curled his lips downward, “His company market will be slowed down. What news telling about it. We will find it out soon.” Curtis sniffed. Considering that he had shared what his dad inherited him in some enterprises under The Philippe’s Corporation. He didn’t want to get burned into Dante’s games. A lite games should be arranged carefully… “It’s only a warn for him. I don’t think I will agree with you to make that company stopping for good.” He gazed at Dante. Dante smirked and blew the smokes out. “We can be a partner. If the stock prices turn down, you can buy as much as you want. At least, the power will be yours.” “I will lend you much money as you need to buy Edward’s company.” He spoke and continued to walk around the table. “I can give you a loan with minimum interest.” Curtis threw h
A waiter took Elena and Ashley to a table that was prepared for them. It was out aired table and they could enjoy the green scenery of the garden. The wind blew in soft breeze, spreading the scent of summer time into visitors of the restaurant. Elena opened the menu card and Ashley had orders being written. “What drink you think is freshly?” She asked the waiter. She got the waiter choose for her then, he left them to serve the order, bringing it to the kitchen to be processed. “How I’d appreciate this moment after having heavy day, doing the project.” Ashley fixed her green dress with Sabrina model cleavage. The wind breeze played some hair strands on her cheeks. Ashley held her medium short hair and flipped it all on one side. Elena poured the fresh water from the glass bottle on the table. Sipping it and the fresh taste of natural mountain springs was flowing into her throat. She took off her barrette hat on the table. “How good so far?” Ashley frowned and
The music sounded quite loud, coming out from speaker laid on the floor. Her hips were slithering along the pole as the instrumental music was vibing. The two long legs wrapping in black net stocking clenched as she swayed her back with one hand was holding the pole. She looked like a beautiful butterfly with its flapping wings everytime she moved her legs along that smooth surface of metal. The grain of sweat dripped on the floor. The scene captured Curtis’s eyes as he entered the house. He gasped. One of her legs was spreading on the pole, like a snake slithering a smooth surface. He sighed as his wild imagination was dancing too, watching her crawling on him like a snake. He slammed the door, running to reach the woman from falling down. The woman was laughing. She wrapped her arms on Curtis’s neck. “Damn you made me getting butterflies in my stomach.” Curtis grabbed the woman into his arms. She still giggled. “I am a professional dancer, honey.” Her eyes wer
Gurgling...bubbling came as Susan poured the wine for Curtis in a glass. He dragged the seat and sat with his casual shirt while a nice dress, tightly wrapping up Susan. He saw the dish in his sight and started eating it. Susan looked at him still, gently munching her meal. Her neck was adorned by a white gold necklace, his gift for their last anniversary. Curtis slightly took a glance at it. She rested one hand on her chin after taking a sip of her wine. She swallowed the wine in her elegant manner as usual. “I hope you don’t mind I choose different recipe for our main course.” She sliced the beef with curry sauce. Her eyes hit her husband’s face. Curtis tilted and stared at his wife for a moment. He saw misty look from those hazel eyes. “No. It’s fine.” Coldly answered and paused to sip his wine, he continued to finish the dish. The tickling sounds of silver wares were only the music. His ears captured Susan thumped the fork on the plate before she rested h
