He led me to a cute shop across the road, opening the door for me like a gentleman. The door dinged. It wasn’t loud but it was audible enough to be heard.
I looked up and saw that there was a small bell hanging on top of the door to announce new customers.
As soon as we walked a few steps in, an old woman, well not really old but probably in her 40s or 50s approached us. She gave me a once over, slowly looking at me carefully from head to toe. She was openly checking me out.
“Hey Mia,” Alejandro called her attention.
“Hi love, how’s the hospital?’ she asked. The way she switched from her stern facial expression to a soft one was baffling to me.
“It’s good, how’s business? It seems it’s kinda busy,” he looked around.
“It is, but nothing we can’t handle,” she replied confidently.
I just stood there awkwardly while they exchanged
~NiveaThe man turned and I saw it was Thomas. He saw me but that didn’t stop him, instead he looked me dead in the eye and kept sliding in and out of my stepmom. He even had the guts to sneer at me while he kept entering her from behind. The paper bag in my hands dropped to the ground as I covered my mouth with my hands in shock. Stella turned and I saw as her eyes widened in shock when she saw me at the entrance watching them. She pushed Thomas away and grabbed a quilt to cover up. The bastard bursted out laughing at the scene.I stepped backward, walking fast back out. I could hear the footsteps of someone running after me, “Nivea wait,” she grabbed my hands but I yanked it away.“Don’t touch me with your filthy hands!” yelled at her.“I’m so sorry, you weren’t supposed to see that,” She apologized. Why the hell was she apologizing to me? She should save it for when I told my fat
~Nivea“I didn’t…She paused. “It wasn’t supposed to happen, Thomas approached me himself,”“And you couldn’t decline?” I couldn't believe she was trying to feed me flimsy excuses.“I couldn’t. He was offering to help your father pay off some debts and help his business, he told me it would be a one-time thing and that was why I agreed. Later on, he threatened me, said he would stop funding it and expose me, I couldn’t refuse,”“So you did what you pushed me to do, sacrificed yourself for family? That’s bullshit and you know it. You could have easily come to me instead, that’s just a shitty excuse,” I grunted.“Come to you? You became so closed off, we didn’t know how to approach you anymore, so I did the only thing I could do,” she defended.“No, you don’t get the chance to push the blame on me, it’s all
~ZaneI moaned and she slipped her tongue into my mouth, pushing her hands softly into my hair as I pulled her closer. I was starting to get aroused and she could feel the thickness of it on her stomach. She purred and her hands went down to stroke me and I froze.I removed her hands. I couldn't believe she wanted to have sex right now right here. I paused, thinking if this was the right thing.I didn't want to be like my dad who took advantage of vulnerable people. “I don’t think we should,” I tried stepping away but she pulled me back.“Don’t tell me how to feel. I want you, so just do it okay,” she pleaded. “I know you want me too so stop fighting it,”She slammed her lips on mine, her hands went under my shirt, and she ran her fingers all over my chest. Pulling the shirt over my head, she continued kissing me and I grabbed her and lifted her, her legs circling my waist tightly.
~Zane“What are you going to do about it?” I asked as I stroked her hair. She sighed, “I don’t know, I don’t want to be the one to break his heart, he is madly in love with her,”“But you keeping that information from your father isn’t right either, he deserves to know the truth,”“I know but not right now,” she sunk further into me. “I can’t believe she would do that to my Dad, I mean Thomas can fuck whoever he wants but he should have done it with someone else, not my father’s wife!” she said in one breath. I just allowed her to rant. It’s been heavy in her heart and she needed to let it out.“I still remember the things she said to me to make me marry Thomas. It’s for the family. What's the worst that could happen?"“What?” I sat up. “She sold you to him?” my eyes blazed with anger.“
~NiveaI headed down the stairs to the kitchen where Linda was, cooking up a storm as usual. Swiping a grape, I sat down and began to eat after she served me, while I wondered what I'd be doing today. Perhaps I'd hang out with Leo, the only friend I had. Thomas joined me shortly after, and as usual, it was quiet.I heard footsteps and turned to see it was Zane, he paused for a bit on the stairs, his brows drawn close as he stared.Thomas called for him to join us for breakfast and he unwillingly sat down on the chair, giving me a weird look, which I understood. He was surprised I was acting all cool and calm with Thomas like I didn’t lose my mind last night.Thomas announced that we had a dinner party to attend and as usual I should dress well so I wouldn't embarrass him in public. The dress he chose was quite embarrassing too, which wasn't new. It was like wearing a club kind of gown to a business dinner party.I felt fidgeted, feeling
~NiveaHow dare she mention his mum like that, no utter respect. I felt Zane's arms tighten around my waist, he wanted to step forward but I held onto him tight, “It’s okay, don’t let them get into your head,” I whispered in his ears. He nodded slightly and we walked off the red carpet and entered the hall.I was in awe as I stared at the hall. It was magnificent! The decorations were mostly gold which gave out this royal, elegant feel. Coupled with the seating arrangements, everything was stunning. I was lost in the beauty and nothing else.“You really are the center of attention,” he mumbled close to my ears and I blinked at his words.“Huh?” I glanced at him in confusion and he nodded to the crowd. Their eyes were on us and other heads also turned to stare. I had been so lost in the beauty of this place, I hadn't been paying attention to the people staring at me. Some were even giving me ‘the side e
~ZaneMy dad was so unbearable, I couldn't believe he thought he could still force me into an arranged marriage with Finny. I just needed to pretend to agree to all this, till I got all I wanted, then I was going to crash his company.Leaving him there with his miserable friend, I headed straight to the bar at the far end of the hall.Pulling out a chair, I sat down “Scotch on the rocks with a twist,” I said to the bartender. He nodded and got to work. He placed it on the table and I emptied it once, sighing in relief. “More,” I signaled to him.I lost count once I drank the second cup, and the bartender started telling me funny jokes. Why do they always do that?Anyways, he kept me company till he didn’t refill my cup.“Keep it going, don’t stop,” I pointed to my empty glass cup.I can’t sir,” he said, looking down.“Why? Is it money you want?
~ZaneShe tugged at the collar of my shirt, unbuttoning it, and her fingers plastered on my chest as she greedily explored it. I used my feet to kick the door open and closed the door behind me, it didn’t really close but I didn't give two shits, all I wanted was to be inside her.Nivea jumped down and looked around the room. The room was bigger than some New York apartments, with black-streaked marble walls echoing the clicks of Nivea’s heels. One wall held a black low leather-covered bench, the opposite a walk-in closet and expansive countertop. The seamless mirror reflected the soft sparse light bulbs hanging from the ceiling that served as the room’s main lighting.Nivea twirled in the middle of the room, the diamond at her neck sparkling in and out with the light. “Hmm, this is interesting,” Her voice was playful, so her next words caught me off guard. “So how many girls have you brought in here?” her eyes narrowed
