CHAPTER 66: I THINK I LOVE HER

AUTHOR’S POV

The air felt suffocating, and the mood of the whole hall was off. Hunter looked around, and of course, everyone was dressed in black. He had on a black suit too, and he sat between his brothers, trying not to let the tears slip. Because they weren't crying, even though he was sure they wanted to, and he could be strong like them.

They were the only ones he had to look up to now, both of them successful men, and if he couldn't even follow in the tiniest of their footsteps, then there was no way his life would be as good as theirs.

"You good, bro?" Axel whispered, leaning closer to him. He had been watching him through the corner of his eyes, and his lower lip kept trembling. He didn't want him to start bawling right here.

Hunter nodded, a tense look on his face. "I'll be fine."

He looked up as Blaze rose, right in the front seat of the gathering, and left with a stone-cold expression on his face.

"Is it just me, or does he look angry?" Axel asked as Blaze disappeared thro
