I had a bath after my run and made an early lunch because I was feeling rather ravenous. It was late in the afternoon when I heard a knock on my door. Already aware of who might be knocking on the door, I hurried towards it and opened it.

A young woman stood at the other end of the door. Her red hair is tied up in a tight ponytail, making her forehead pop. It heightened the brightness of her green eyes.

“Good afternoon, ma,” she smiled at me, “this is Mr Gordon's house, right?” She asked, looking up at me with such innocent eyes.

“Yes, and you might be?”

Though I know who she is, and what she's doing here, I had to ask.

“I'm Claudia, the new live-in maid. I presumed Mr Gordon told you about me?” She asked with a smile.
