Chapter Ninety Two : Twice A Week

Veronica’s POV

"Bruno, I'm leaving," I said, my voice firm and resolute. "I won't stay in this mansion a moment longer, trapped by your lies and manipulation. I'm taking Alejandro and getting out of here, and there's nothing you can do to stop me."

Bruno's face twisted with rage, but I stood my ground. "You'll never leave this place," he snarled, his voice low and menacing. "You'll never take Alejandro away from me. I'll do whatever it takes to keep him here, with me."

I laughed, a cold, mirthless sound. "You're too late, Bruno," I said. "I've already won. I have the truth on my side, and I have the courage to stand up to you. You're the one who's trapped, Bruno. Trapped in your own web of lies and deceit."
