Chapter 59

I looked at Daniel and for a second, I actually felt pity for him. He was a young troubled man who had to make such ridiculous demands on himself simply because he was trying to meet up with the expectations of his family.

I could tell that the only reason he was actually behaving so stupidly was because he knew his life was going to be caged immediately he finished school and so he decided to use the opportunity he had to do all the wild and crazy things that he ever wanted to do in life.

I know Sandra had told me to not try and make excuses for him but as I looked at him, all I could see was a man who was extremely troubled and it became very obvious to me exactly what was going on with him.

I couldn't exactly blame him. He didn't know how to react to the circumstances surrounding his life and so he acted out by getting himself involved with every little woman that he saw.

He wanted a taste of them all before he finally settled down to marry someone that he did not love.
