Before I knew what had happened, I grabbed her by her hair and dragged her to the same door that she bolted.

I didn't know where I had gotten the strength from but I suddenly pinned her to the door and spoke calmly into her ears.

"Let me make this perfectly clear to you. The next time you so much as look in the direction of either me or my man, I will hurt you in so many different ways that even all the pain killers in this hospital won't be able to make you feel better. Now have I made myself perfectly clear?"

I didn't yell, didn't stress myself. I just spoke calmly but with a tight grip on her hair to be very sure that she got the point I was trying to make and at the end of the day, it was obvious that she did because she started nodding her head and I patted her.
