WOLF POV

Time blurred by so fast and before we all knew it, a week had gone by.

Sky and I didn’t talk much, except for the awfully formal calls where I called to check up on her and her responses were so robotic and out of it. I get it; she was still readying herself for the long talk we were supposed to have. And if I were, to be honest, I was nervous as hell!

The night I left her penthouse, I drove straight to the big manor. I figured I needed some man-to-man moments with the old man so that he could tell me everything I needed to know about marriage and such. I could have asked Dwight, other married friends of mine, but Nah! Those twats never believed a thing I said, especially when it came to the serious me! So Arthur was the only one to help me with this.

Yes you did!! Anyone who has ever lost anyone near and dear to them can relate to that chapter and to Sky and Kayden!! And I LOVED his final understanding of what Sky has gone through!! BRAVO for an EXCELLENT job!
