Time blurred by so fast and before we all knew it, a week had gone by.

Sky and I didn’t talk much, except for the awfully formal calls where I called to check up on her and her responses were so robotic and out of it. I get it; she was still readying herself for the long talk we were supposed to have. And if I were, to be honest, I was nervous as hell!

The night I left her penthouse, I drove straight to the big manor. I figured I needed some man-to-man moments with the old man so that he could tell me everything I needed to know about marriage and such.
