"You know them?" Chase asked telepathically.

Stephen quickly explained, "They're brothers. The older one is Enoch, and the younger one is Epoch. Both of them are stage-four martial lords of martial arts, and they're quite famous on Forage Mountain.

"They're considered the uncrowned kings of the mountain's forests as they have most of the rules there. I never expected they'd secretly follow us into High Heaven Plains."

"Brothers? Which family are they from?" Chase inquired as the two joined the battle.

"They don't belong to any famous family. That's why they've stayed on Forage Mountain. Otherwise, they'd already be part of one of East Capital's renowned families. We just call them the Sands brothers."

Chase understood now. The brothers' arrival changed the situation significantly, reducing the pressure on him. Of the dozen or so pursuers, four were now occupied by the Sands brothers.
