Chase watched Douglas walk away without stopping him.

He had realized by now that Hannah was just making use of him. It was just that Chase had no idea what he had done for Hannah to change her attitude toward him.

Even though Chase hated being made use of, he did not give Hannah too much trouble on account that she had made a visit to his house to diagnose Bianca.

All he did was glance stoically at Hannah, who was watching everything unfold gleefully.

He prepared to leave Herb Hall.

Hannah must have felt guilty, or it could be something else. Before Chase left, she gave him a warning.

"Mr. Collins, I'd advise you to leave Capital City as soon as possible. The Webers are more powerful in Capital City than you think. Even if you're a powerhouse with high cultivation, it would be best to avoid them."

"You don't need to trouble yourself over if I leave or stay. One last thing, I hope whatever you did just now would not happen a second time."

Chase walked away without looking back.
