Rejected her gone wrong

Whose woman wanted to be married to a low alpha like me? This is something ridiculous that I can’t understand at all.

“Is that so, then it’s good to hear that your daughter wants him because of fate.” My father said and smile.

Fate?

What are they talking about, I hope someone cares to explain what happening right now?

“Pardon me for asking, but… where is your daughter?” I can’t help but ask, I never see omega come out in the carriage. 

“Oh!” The Elder looked at me seriously before he gives a sign to the beta beside him, “tell her to come out now.” He ordered.

“Yes, Alpha Gregor.” The beta quickly walks toward the carriage.

Once the gold silk curtain opens, everyone becomes silent. A woman with a white dress comes out of the carriage, when everything becomes slow, our eyes meet.

It felt so unreal when my whole body is shaking from the coldness of her blue eyes staring at me from the distance, she’s an omega but I can feel how dominant her scent was. It’s fearless…

She walks toward us. “Good evening, Alpha Raymond. I’m Beatrix Lilith from the south pack, I am glad to meet you.” She smiles sweetly at my father but did not even try to hide her dominating pheromones, it is suffocating for me as low Alpha.

I want to grab her wrist and kiss her right now.

Is she trying to seduce me? Did she know that I am low alpha and trying to tell me that between us, she’s more powerful?

“I am glad to meet my future daughter-in-law too,” the surroundings become full of whispers, my father already accepts my fate but it is not like that for me. 

“Sorry, but… I can’t accept this marriage deal.” I finally said it. After all, this is what I decided.

I can see how to shock my parents and brother with what I said but it doesn’t mean I will change my mind, the disappointing look they threw me is like knives.

“Rayton…” My father said with a low voice, he’s trying to stop me.

“No, I don’t want to do this, father.” I look at Alpha Gregor from the South, “I am willing to be part of your slave but I won’t marry your daughter.”

Everyone in my pack gasped in disbelief, but I already expected it. I’m waiting for the worse reaction from my pack.

Instead of the Alpha, she walks in front of me. “Why are you rejecting our proposal? You and I are fated mate and you can’t reject it like that easily.” She’s really cold, her stare and voice… I can’t feel any warmth from her.

“How can you say that I can’t? I already did and I will repeat it. I, Rayton an Alpha of Draken pack from North will not accept you as my mate!” I shouted. 

But she just stared at me without blinking, I can see how her lips slowly formed a mischievous smirk. Later on, we heard loud chuckles from her making wolves from her and my pack confused.

 “I, Beatrix Lilith a Dominant omega won’t accept any rejection from my mate! From now on, you will be my alpha no matter what you say and that’s an order.” She sweetly smiled at me.

It was too fast, all I know is she now holding the cup of our traditional wine. The wine symbolized of promise that once the two wolves drink it, they promise to the moon that they will be together and protect each other until they die.

“In front of all the wolves, I promise to be together with you until the day we die.” She drinks it, “now you are my mate.” She said.

“This is an incomplete process, I did not drink…” She did not let me finish my words, she quickly grabs my nape and let our lips touch. 

Not for her to kiss me, but I can feel the wine get inside my mouth. 

There is no choice but to swallow the wine, she forced me to promise.

“Now, it’s complete.” She whispers and looks at everyone. “I, Beatrix Lilith the leader of Lilith pack from the south gladly welcome the Draken pack from North as our ally.” She announced.

All I can think now is to cuss, what is happening? 

Why rejecting her doesn’t even help?

They said that if you don’t want your mate, just rejected her in front of everyone but why is this happening right now?

One by one, the people in our pack congratulates me as if they didn’t look at me like a dagger earlier, they act like I did nothing.

I look at Alpha Gregor, he seems not affected either by what I caused earlier. It’s my feelings and opinion that did not even matter here?

“Why the long face? You’re not happy to be part of our pack?” Someone put his arms on my shoulder, it was from the south pack. “My step-sister took a liking on you, she was desperate to be with her fated mate. Looking at how you rejected her seems not very effective, sadly, if only I know that you are against it; I should help you sooner.” 

I don’t understand him, but the base of what he said… This man doesn’t favor this arranged marriage also.

“My opinion is not important, to my pack or your sister. No need to act as you accept me as your brother-in-law.” I hate it. Now there is no turning back in the marriage.

“Uh-oh, I think you misunderstand me. I’m not, rather than acting as if I accepted you as my brother-in-law, I should say; I am more the person who is willing to help you to escape this arranged marriage.” He whispered to me.

I look at him, he also has a blue color in his eyes but not dark like how her eyes are. 

“How will you help me and why are you going to do that?” I curiously asked.
