ISABEL

I gave a light knock on his door. "Roland?" He called out but got no response. "Donald?" He went again and was greeted with the same cold silence. He probably thought it would be Roland or Donald. I overheard Mom saying that they were fond of encountering ghosts in their sleep.

I waited quietly, listening, as Mavis shoveled his feet down to his door. To his greatest surprise, he opened the door to a completely different person.

It felt inappropriate to do this, but yet, something seemed to push me. It left me wondering where I'd gotten the vigor to jump off my bed and follow him immediately after.

He opened his door, and the concentrated scent of vanilla flushed over my face making me feel like pulling him into a tight hug. At this point, I cared less about our parents getting to see us wrapped up together under folds of bedding.

All sweaty, doing crazy things to each other, moaning, and ...

"Isabel? What is it, you have been silent for a while." He pulled me out of my sensual thoughts leaving me a little embarrassed.

"Hi, Mavis." I smiled, a little.

"Yeah, hi." He had a surprised look on his face but I could sense that he was excited to see me. "You seem lost, is there a problem?"

"Yeah, you forgot your cup of wine on my table," I handed the cup to him.

"A wine cup, is that all?" He asked, disappointment written over his face. He tried to conceal it by lowering his eyes down my silky pajamas. They suddenly stopped around my chest area and my nipples became hardened. I raised my arms and wrapped them around my boobs and he looked away.

"I'm sorry about that." he apologized. "I didn't mean to."

"That's fine, it's nothing." I was standing on one foot, trying to get busy with the other by thumping the marble floor. "Is that all or..." he asked reaching out to touch my auburn hair with the back of his palm.

"Umm, the pictures on your wall, can I see them?"

"Yes, sure." He opened his door wide enough for me and I walked into his room. Something inside of me was condemning me. I knew it was absurd to be in his room at such an hour but the little speech he gave in my room some minutes ago had just awakened a part of me that needed me to be around the man who swept me off my feet on my first day in school.

I can still remember vividly how I reacted the first time I saw him. I stood there watching him play in the field with the boys like I'd lost my senses. He looked so sweet and hot in his jersey, his short revealing pairs of hot-fitting legs. If not for the flowing t-shirt, the shape of his cock would have been visible enough cause of how tight it was. Yes, I concentrated more on that area, imagining a whole lot of things I could do to him with my tongue.

Afterward, I tried everything possible to have him but couldn't. When I was nominated for the title of prom queen, I felt it would be a good opportunity to get to talk with him for the first time. Unfortunately, the students needed someone else, Estelle, his favorite girlfriend.

"Isabel," he called out with more emphasis on the second syllable of my name, his call interrupted my thought process. "Oh, yeah?"

"Look," he showed me my pictures on his wall.

It was true. He had my old pictures from high school.

"How did you get these?" I looked closer, "And this? How? My goodness! Mavis?"

"While I observed in the secret, I had someone bringing me pictures of you without your awareness. Forgive me,"

"Stop, please." I lowered my face. Did I just blush? I quickly raised my face and nodded at him. Suddenly, there was a knock on the door.

"Who could that be?"

"I wonder, get into the wardrobe and remain calm." He advised as he made toward the door.

I remained in the wardrobe and listened.

"... but you are grown now, ghosts do not exist, how do I explain to you?"

"It's there on the bed, in my room, I saw it. Come and kill him, big bro."

Mavis sighed in frustration, "Fine let's go and kill it."

As soon as he shut the door, I sneaked out into my room. I got into bed and heaved. I've been alone for two months and have missed the touch of a man. Now, having Mavis directly opposite my room might be a cause of distraction for me.

My door opened and Mavis walked in. "We were not done," he said approaching my bed. He had taken off his shirt revealing his alluring abs and triceps to my hungry eyes. He was pushing me, such a tempter! Even the devil has his limits.

"How about little brother?"

"I put him to bed, he's sleeping soundly."

"You have to go, it's late." I reminded him.

"I can't concentrate on sleeping with you under my roof, Isabel."

"My mother is married to your father, have you forgotten already? So, what does that make us?"

"That's no business of mine. If you are not comfortable here, we can go somewhere else."

"What do you want from me, Mavis?" I sat up, cupping my boobs with my arms as I pushed the duvet aside.

"Orgasms, multiple orgasms that will leave my head blank for a moment."

For a moment, his words sank into me, leaving me nearly immobilized. He was sexualizing me with his words.

"You have no respect for me, Mavis. I thought you had a nice time with your slut?"

"Isabel, remember when you ordered a sandwich but were told that the cafe wasn't producing sandwiches at that time? You had to settle for pie. Did it quench your taste for sandwiches?"

"Damn, Mavis."

"No, please. Cause later in the evening, we found you eating a sandwich at Mr. Larry's."

"Wait, how do you know all of these?"

"Never mind, good night."

"Good night," he made a little toward the door and paused

"Don't I get a good night kiss? Are you just going to send me away with nothing?"

"Huh?" I asked, popping out surprised eyes.

"A brotherly, sisterly kiss?" He raised a brow with a look of worry. "Or, a hug? Come on, be nice."

"Fine, a good night hug," I said spreading out my arms to him.

What if someone was eavesdropping? I thought as Mavis got closer and closer to me.

I was still on the bed when he joined me. The smell of his cologne got intense as our bodies got locked in a warm hug. It was supposed to be a type of hug shared between siblings but the beast in Mavis deceived him or maybe he wanted more than a hug.

His fingers dug deep into my skin, kneading it through my pajamas. "Mav..."

He shut me up with a tender kiss and my head went blank as though someone walked into my room, got hold of my brain, tossed it aside, and said I wouldn't be needing it at the moment.

"Shush," he brought his mouth to my ear and whispered into it. "You want me, don't you?" When he said that, he nibbled my earlobe while his hands traveled down my belly to my navel. "This is not right, we are..." I tried to say something although my body was starting to betray me. I tried to unclasp myself from him but it felt warm and right to have a man in my arms, a man like Mavis.

He interrupted me, "We are just siblings with different blood running through our veins, this is right. Allow me to help you relax and sleep like a baby tonight."

Spoilt champ began to exert force on me so I could rest my back on the bed. I didn't know when I lay on the bed with Mavis on top of me. I found myself being too weak to push him away yet, I felt scared to reciprocate the touches and caresses he was giving off.

"Your body, I fantasized about you every day, Isabel. It's good that you're now within my reach, please, let me eat you out."

I released my breath upon hearing that. I've held it for a while and I was beginning to feel like I could suffocate. I couldn't believe that my dreams would be coming into reality. Seeing that he was resolved to have what he wanted, what I had always wanted, I gave in. I just hoped that we would hurriedly have some fun and retire for the night before our parents found out about us.

"Five minutes," I managed to speak out. "I'm giving you only five minutes and we'll be done. Is it a deal?"

ISABEL It happened in an instant. A deafening and sudden explosion, "POP!" It felt like my soul was drawn out of my body. It was like the sharp sound of a gunshot. It shook even the foundations of the courthouse vehemently. "Isabel! Get down at once!" my stepfather's voice boomed from the back. But before I could do anything else, someone swooped in, grasping my waist and pulling me down. His steps faltered, and we both tumbled to the floor while I landed on his bleeding body. She's just trying to cause trouble." Mavis's expression turned cold as he gazed at Estelle, "You don't need to cry, my love," he said, turning to Isabel and taking her hand. "The cameras will clear your name. Look, there's the broken glass of red wine, proof of her actions." Estelle's face contorted in anguish as she screamed, "You believe her? Why don't you ever listen to me? I was only sipping my wine when she pushed me!" Mavis's eyes fell on Estelle once more, "Congratulations, Estelle. Your jealousy has cost you dearly. You've lost your place and respect as a part of the Mulan family. You never deserved to bear our name. I'll call a doctor to tend to you, and then the police will take you away to serve your sentence. You're no longer welcome here." "Please, Mavis, don't call the polic

  • My Secret, My Stepbrother    Chapter 130: The Plot

Third Person POV Soon after Bennett left, Estelle settled into the living room sofa, engaged in a conversation with Jason. "Did you not tell me that he lost his job?" Jason continued, "yet he resides in a Beverly Hills mansion? How did he achieve that?" "Maybe Isabel helped him, you know she has a big business now." "Her business is barely a month old, and I doubt her funds could afford even a single room in Beverly Hills," Jason replied. "I suspect Mr. Mulan must have provided financial assistance to Mavis. But if it's Isabel, what about her employees, will she even pay them?" "Hmph! That's none of our business, we should make our move when Isabel is alone, but be warned, the estate is heavily guarded by vigilant security personnel." "Don't worry, I have a team of thugs who'll take care of her until she miscarries," Jason said grinning over the phone as he thought of the pain he would be inflicting on his ex-turned-enemy. "Yes!" Estelle concurred, "She should lose her b

  • My Secret, My Stepbrother    Chapter 129: Identity Revealed

Third Person POV Bennett's gaze was riveted on the sentences displayed on the card: "...for the Midtown Group." The logo accompanying the text seemed familiar. Mavis, oblivious to Bennett's sudden fascination, stood upright and said, "Alright, let me get a maid to show Estelle to her quarters." "I'll be with you shortly," he added, but Bennett's attention remained fixed on the identity card as he retreated. Bennett sat there, astonished, her mind reeling with possible interpretations of what she had just seen around Mavis' neck. Isabel called her name for the third time, snapping her back to reality. "Oh, I'm so sorry. I was just... umm..." Bennett stuttered. "What's wrong?" Isabel asked, noticing Bennett's distraction. "Your husband-to-be..." Bennett started, trying to form a coherent sentence. "Yes, what about him?" Isabel asked, becoming interested in her weird reaction. "Where does he work?" Bennett inquired. "Nowhere, currently. I told you, he's living off h

Are you just realizing that?" She raised an eyebrow, her gaze sweeping over Isabel and Bennett. Bennett turned to Isabel, "Listen, I know how you feel, but since you signed up for this, don't let her win." She urged. Isabel whispered back, "You mean I should kill her?" Her eyes darted to Estelle, who seemed to be enjoying the exchange." "No, but don't let her swing you around like a pendulum. Stand your ground, Isabel." As Mavis descended the stairs, his eyes scanned the room, taking in the tense atmosphere. His gaze landed on Bennett, and he understood that she could be tamed if ever she was upset about Isabel reuniting with him. But when his eyes met Estelle's, he was enraged.
