“I need to talk to you urgently about the Mitchells.”

Aria’s continued silence gnaws at me. It has been some time now since I tried reaching out, and each ignored call and unread message feels like another knife twisting in my gut. At first, I convinced myself not to contact her, not to stir up more trouble.

I knew the Mitchells were already on edge, their grief and anger over Ethan’s disappearance clouding their judgement.
