65. Accept your sympathy

Kiara’s POV 

I was just winding up my work at the restaurant when the clock struck 9. My shift officially ended. As it was a friday evening, the restaurant was filled with a throng of people. My shift had been hectic, barely giving me any time to breathe in between. When I walked out of the restaurant in my normal clothes, exhaustion hit me at once. I yearned for nothing more than the comfort of my bed and a good night’s sleep that followed. However, I was not going to get home for another thirty minutes.
