Chapter 5

Tania's POV

In the morning, I went with him to his home, I didn't expect the sight I saw. He lived in a luxurious castle, I stared in amazement as we walked further into the castle. He stopped abruptly in the middle of the pack room, I almost bumped into him.

I looked at him, and gaped in surprise. He was a really fine human, his hair, unlike my obsidian colour, was blonde and curly, he had deep black eyes, with strong jaws. I could only imagine my lips on them.

Immediately I felt his gaze on me. I looked down instantly, drawing imaginary circles around my feet. "Mrs. Emma" I heard Derek call out. I loathed up and my eyes met with the woman, Mrs. Emma, she instantly faced the Alpha. "Alpha, you called " her tired but melodious voice filled my ear. "

"Yes, this is Tania, I want you to train her as my personal maid, " He said. I was stunned at his arrangement, I thought he brought me here only to treat my wounds and let me go, I mean, I don't really have anywhere to go but a personal maid? That sounds absurd, I can't be trapped here. And my former pack? What if they trace my scent here and bully me again, I can't endanger Alpha's pack.

I looked around, searching for a means to sneak out of the castle without being noticed, I really need to leave right now. I felt a sharp gaze on me, looking up, I realized Alpha Alpha had been staring intensely at me for a while now, I could swear his eyes flickered red for a second and went back to normal, his wolf was almost livid. He probably heard my thoughts, I lowered my head in shame.

A tap made me look up again, Mrs. Emma stood in front of me with the maid's uniform, I wondered if she heard my thoughts too. "You need to change into this" she said. Yes, this is what I need, I can escape easily now, when she takes me to the guest room, I'll be able to find a way out. "Could you show me to the guest room? " I asked politely, not wanting to raise suspicions. She looked at me for a while, then nodded.

Yes, my plan's going smoothly. "Stop" shit, I totally forgot the Alpha was still with me. He said his name was Derek, I didn't know if I could refer to him as Derek, having known he is Alpha, even though he was from another pack .He heard everything. What do I do now? "You can leave now Mrs. Emma, I'll help her out myself". After a slight bow, she left. I expected scolds but the Alpha remained mute and my gaze remained on the floor, the silence didn't help as my heart kept beating really fast in anticipation of what would happen next. Tick...tock...tick...tock, the only sound heard, coming from the old clock that rested on the huge walls, somewhere around the centre of the room. I was certain the size made it make such noise., something else grabbed my attention, Alpha's baby picture, when he was still a young cub, he was so cute, not that he isn't now, just that in the picture, he was so adorable, but I do love his look now from his long hair, I wouldn't mind playing with it to his lovely eyes, his pink lips and damn, he broad shoulders, any girl's desire. Tania! What sort of immoral thought is this?

His footsteps getting close, he's walking to me, should I run, I probably should, Tania run! Why can't I?

"If not for my trusted assistant Marcel, you would be in the hollow of the ocean now " he started speaking, his voice was calm, but it was firm.

"You'll be changing in my room where I can see you" he said using his Alpha tone, I dare not reject an alpha. He walks ahead of me, I follow behind, it's hard to keep up with his pace, he's too fast and I'm already exhausted . "Hey, can you walk faster than this?" I heard him say. "I'm trying to keep up Alpha" I said weakly, I'm already tired and the injuries aren't making it better.

"You're slowing me down, this is just the second floor and my room is on the tenth, I'll have to carry you" what did I just hear, he wants to carry me, I could actually feel his broad shoulders, I'll be the damsel in distress that he'll carry. "Uhmmm, Alpha, your pack members might see you ". "Nonsense, it doesn't matter you're injured and I have to treat your bruises, I'll have to carry you, it's an order". I obliged and let him carry me. There's something about his scent that gives me this satisfaction, he walked into the elevator with me in his arms. Shortly after we arrived on the tenth floor, he opened his room with me in his arms.

Dropped me on the sofa and went to lock the door. I stared at him, scared. "I can't dress in your presence Alpha" I told him, I really need to leave but he's making things hard. "You have to, I need to treat your wounds" he replied softly, he tried to use his eyes to convince me, his stares were sending daggers of emotions down my chest, i wished we could go back to the night time where I could stare in his eyes with no emotions."he's strange,' not all Alpha's are caring". I pleaded with him to look away, he looked at me for a while, probably deliberating and then he turned. Out of my control, I began to tiptoe to the door. "And where do you think you're going to?" his hoarse voice asked. I could only stammer, my head blank with no excuse to give, I'll probably be in trouble now.

"Come here and stop trying to escape, I need to treat your wounds" he looked at his wrist watch, I was probably keeping him. Slowly I removed my shirt, if any one was to barge it, the sight would be... ugh, I don't even want to think about that, I'm only being careful the bruise on my "ouch " I yelped in pain. "He rushed to me, let me help you with that.... staring intently at me". I only nodded, he helped me with the shirt, why does this have to happen today, I wasn't putting on anything buh an indecent bikini top that leaves little to the imagination. I avoided his gaze but felt his hands on my cheeks, bringing my face to his gaze "It's okay" He whispered, his warm breath brush over my neck. He stepped away for a while and returned with the first aid box. "Sit" He applied a liquid substance on me "ouch It burns" I yelled then bit my lips to keep shut. I almost forget I'm half naked with the Alpha, he doesn't even look at me with lust in his eyes, probably I'm not as attractive as the other ladies in the pack. Unconsciously, I used my hands to cover my chest.

My heart was racing, why would an alpha stranger see my nakedness this quickly, deep down I wanted to show him everything, even though I didn't know why, but my female instincts kept kicking against it.

"I'm shy Alpha" I spoke in subtle tone, I made sure to avoid eye contact with his. I didn't want them doing what they did to me, at least not now. I could not let my guard down just yet.

"Do you want me to treat your wounds?" he queried, his voice a little louder than what he had been using on me.

"You're shouting at me" I cried, he was supposed to be begging me right, I mean it should be an honour for him to actually see my nakedness wouldn't it?

"I'm sorry Tania, but you're getting on my nerves" he spoke calmly this time, and I could sense I was frustrating him.

My skin was pale, and super white, and I had sometimes wondered if men would like my body.

"Okay this is me" I called out, taking away my hands and walking over to him in slow steps.

I was unconscious for a while, Waking up,I slowly opened my eyes. The bright light from the windows were striking my just rising eyes. Where am I? I queried, looking around, first at the gigantic bed I laid on then soft foam, I don't want to go out. Slowly I recollected the events that happened before I slept off. Face palming myself. You really blew it this time. About getting up, something else shocked me. Where are my clothes, I wasn't dressed the last time I remembered but I was certainly not putting on this shirt, it was the Alpha's shirt. How did I get into it, oh no! I'm naked underneath.

I looked at my finger, something was missing, the ring I had had on for a very long while had gone missing, did I lose it when I got into the water, or did I lose it when I fell unconscious.

These questions ran through my head, although I didn't know the originality of the ring, I had always valued it's uniqueness, and renaissance look.

"You look adorable when you're asleep " A voice startled me.
