Chapter 5 Chaos in the dungeon

Triana wiped the water droplets off her face and squinted at the woman. The hostile look of this woman perplexed her. It seemed as if she was her eternal enemy. This made Triana furious as well.

"Are you mute?" Triana fumed. "I asked you something."

"Eyes down, rogue," hollered the woman. "You are not permitted to open your mouth, let alone question me." She glared at her from head to toe, disgusted. "Kneel." Her crisp voice echoed inside the cell.

Triana kept staring at her, her chin up. She didn’t give a damn about such a hot-headed, arrogant young lady.

‘If I hadn’t been imprisoned here, I’d have taught her such a lesson that all your arrogance would have vanished in a minute,’ Triana murmured in her mind.

The woman’s charcoal black eyes turned even darker when she noticed Triana’s haughty demeanor. She clenched and unclenched her fingers. Then she observed how beautiful this rogue was.

As Triana was wet, her pale, flawless skin, which was hidden under the grime, emerged. Her dress clung to her sculpted figure, revealing her tapered waist.

The woman became a bit self-conscious. She thought she had the best body in the pack, but this rogue's figure looked far finer than hers.

Now she figured out why the alpha didn’t kill her. This made her jealous.

"Are you deaf?" she snapped, scrunching her nose. "I said kneel."

"Why would I follow your command?" Triana shrugged. "First, reveal your identity."

The woman yelled, "You are not worthy to know me, you bitch. You are a rogue, who smells like a rotten flash. You're nothing more than a gutter worm. Smelly, dirty, bitchy... a whore who dared to seduce our alpha. Do you think he is interested in you?"

Triana had no idea why she suddenly felt the urge to laugh. Normally, if someone insulted her, she would become enraged. But this woman’s words didn’t infuriate her. She sounded more like an envious chick.

Triana admitted with a sheepish smile, "Yes, I think he is interested in me. Instead of killing me, he brought me here. He wants to keep me close by so he can come to me whenever he wants. Isn’t it romantic?"

"You…" The woman curled her hands into fists and moved towards her at breakneck speed.

"Ah…" Triana scooted away and walked around the cell. "You know what, he is smitten by my charm." She fanned her face with her right hand, batting her eyelashes frequently. "This is not surprising at all. My curvaceous frame is to blame for this. No male can resist the charm of my perfect body. Besides, I am stunning."

The woman’s chest moved up and down as she glared at Triana. She dug her long nails so hard into her palms that her skin broke.

"I have a long list of males who are interested in me," Triana continued. "Blaze is one of them. Didn't you see the way he was staring at me? He couldn’t take his eyes off me even when he was addressing the pack. It shows how much he likes me."

"Stop it, you bitch," the woman snapped, dashing towards her. "I’ll dig your eyes out if you dare to look at him." She extended her hand to scratch her face.

Triana stepped back, waggling her forefinger. "Uh-huh… Don’t come closer."

"Are you threatening me?" The woman fumed.

Triana chuckled. "Why are you angry? Are you jealous?"

"Jealous! Don’t think so highly of yourself, rogue. You have no comparison to me." She inched towards her. "You are a whore, who only knows how to seduce a man."

"Enough," Triana grumbled, her expression darkening. Her smile had also faded by this point. "You've been calling me names for a long time. I tolerate you thinking you're nothing but a silly, spoiled woman. I swear I’ll teach you a good lesson if you humiliate me once more."

"Huh…" The woman’s face twisted in annoyance. "Who permitted you to talk to me like that? I’ll kill you." She lifted her hand to slap her, but Triana caught her wrist in the air.

She scowled at her, trying to pull her hand back. Triana's grip was so tight she couldn't get her hand free.

"Leave my hand," she yelled, constantly trying to draw her hand back.

Triana threw her hand away, a warning look on her face.

The woman retreated as she rubbed her aching wrist, her eyes fixated on Triana.

"I warned you not to come any closer," Triana hissed.

"You are dead," the woman grumbled. "Guards," she yelled at the top of her lungs.

Two guards rushed into the cell. "Are you all right, Miss Moana?" One of them inquired.

"I came to see if this rogue needed anything," Moana said, her voice shaking as though she was going to cry. "But she hurt me. Look at this."

She showed them her wrist. The fingerprints were prominent on her delicate skin.

"She dared hurt your beta’s sister. You should punish her."

The two guards exchanged hesitant glances with one another. The commotion attracted everyone’s attention. The other guards also assembled outside the cell.

"Why are you all standing there like statues?" Moana snarled, her gaze fixed on the guards. "Whip her up. I want to see her skin cut open. I want to hear her cry."

"What is going on?" A rumbling of a deep voice alerted everyone.

"Alpha…" The guards who were gathered in front of the cell bowed and retreated.

Blaze glanced at them as he entered the cell, Gayle closely following. He scowled at Moana, then moved his gaze to Triana.

Moana swallowed the lump in her throat. Her haughtiness disappeared in an instant. She hung her head down, scared.

"What the hell are you doing here, Moana?" Gayle asked in a frenzy, his eyes ablaze.

"I came to see her," Moana murmured. "I wanted to make sure she wasn’t in trouble."

"People here lie so effortlessly," Triana scoffed. She set her eyes on Blaze. "She is here to create trouble for me. As you can see." She directed her fingers towards herself. "She splashed a bucket full of cold water on me while I was sleeping." She nodded to the bucket beside the mattress.

Blaze took a quick look at the bucket before resting his eyes on her.

Gayle stole a glance at Blaze, mortified. The alpha had specifically asked him to ensure that Triana didn’t face any problems in the dungeon. Unfortunately, his stupid sister had already caused Triana problems. He gave Moana a stern glare, furious.

"Who asked you to come to see her?" He roared, dashing up to her.

"I…"

"I’ve never seen you wake up so early in the morning," he growled, cutting her short. He poked her brow with his index finger. "What made you wake up at dawn?"

"Brother…"

"Shut up. When are you going to stop being reckless? You are an adult now. Start acting wisely..." Gayle continued reprimanding her.

However, Blaze wasn’t interested in Moana. His entire attention was on Triana. He kept his gaze transfixed on her perfectly symmetrical oval face. Those locks of her hair that clung to her delicate cheeks were so lucky. He wished he could become those locks.

Her crescent-shaped eyebrows pinched slightly as she saw him staring at her. Blaze skipped a beat at being caught. Triana’s thick, lustrous eyelashes blinked once as if to invite him over. Her narrowed eyes were filled with questions, yet they were alluring to Blaze. Those reminded him of the deep blue sea.

Blaze swallowed as he moved his gaze down to her neck, then to her sternum. Her round, firm boobs looked so attractive. Under the wet white gown, her hard nipples were apparent. Blaze could feel his crotch tightening. The desire to have her grew stronger. Furthermore, her delectable flowery aroma made it difficult for him to resist.

"I’m sorry, alpha," Gayle’s voice pulled him out of his reverie. When he gazed back, he saw Gayle bowing to him. "I’m ashamed of Moana’s behavior," Gayle continued. "I'll make sure she doesn't repeat the mistake."

Blaze nodded and took a look around, only to see all the guards staring at Triana with lust. Their expressions showed that they could hardly resist the urge to jump on her.

This made Blaze furious. He had his fists squeezed so tightly that his knuckles were white. He gave each of the guards a menacing look.

Everyone bowed and took a step back in submission.

Blaze turned to Gayle and said in his alpha tone, "She can’t stay here anymore. I don't want my dungeon to be a shamble. Bring her to my room." He turned to leave.

"No... " Triana retorted vehemently. "I can't stay in the same room with you."

Blaze stalled on the track.

"I’m not a rogue," Triana continued. "I said it multiple times. You should let me go. You can't take my freedom away from me."

"You are not in a state of negotiation," Blaze roared, looking back at her over his shoulder. "You are not allowed to leave the pack until I figure out who you are." He strode out.

Triana sulked as she watched the entrance of the cell. She wanted to flee at once. But she was aware that it was not possible. In Blaze’s territory, she had no choice other than to follow his orders.
