OLD COUPLES

Richie decided to take Leah on a date to distract her from Tus' offer. After a delicious lunch date filled with laughter and shared memories, they decided to pick up a few things from the mall. They headed to the school to pick up their twin boys, Jayden and Jayson, who bounded into the car with their usual exuberance.

"Mom! Dad! Guess what we did today!"

"Tell us all about it, sweetheart.".. Leah answered, smiling.

The boys chattered away as Richie drove them to the mall, detailing every small adventure of their school day. Leah couldn’t help but smile at their enthusiasm.

Once at the mall, the family split up. Richie took the boys to pick out some new toys and clothes, while Leah headed to the grocery section to get fruits and vegetables for the kitchen and freezer.

Leah was examining some apples when she noticed an old woman nearby struggling with her bag. An apple rolled out and Leah quickly bent down to pick it up.

"Here you go, ma'am."

The old woman, Sarah, smiled warmly.
