Chapter 2: Mission Complete

Early in the next morning, Eduard started to stretch out his body after waking up and washing his face. 

    He is currently at the backyard of his new residence. Since he has nothing to do while waiting for his breakfast, he decided to do a normal stretching exercise. 

    Sadly, he did not sweat too much after 30 minutes of doing the normal routine, due to his physique improvements. His body of a 1st tier Iron Level Knight was stronger that his old body on earth.

 The door of his Eduard's house suddenly opened. Angie suddenly came out from the inside.

    Angie was one of his maid that accompany him. She was around 15 years old, with a good looks. Her brown hair was paired with the color of her brown eyes, which made her quite attractive. 

    She noticed that Eduard was busy with doing exercises while his upper body was exposed, she was attracted.

     Suddenly, she remember her purpose of coming  and called out for Eduard.

 "Young master, the breakfast is already prepared" she said loudly. 

    Eduard stopped his exercises activity and walk on the direction of Angie. 

    Angie was in a daze, looking on Eduard's body. She can't stop herself to look, Eduard body was quite sweaty which make it looks like shiny.

    The body of Eduard was got chiselled into a muscular tone after he was leveled up by the system. This could be called as a bonus reward for his reincarnation.

    Angie switched her gaze to the other direction to avoid looking at the body of Eduard. She was ashamed of what she is thinking over her master.

    Angie action didn't scape the noticed of Eduard. He also looked at the direction where Angie was looking.

     Seeing that theres nothing interesting beside the large tree that been swayed by the wind, he switched back his attention to Angie. 

    There is a little bit of redness on Angie's cheek, It makes the clueless Eduard's worry.

 "Angie are you sick, your face looks reddish. You look like someone with fever" Eduard comes near her and touch her forehead.

 "Uhm, Y-young master I'm fine. I-It should be due to being exposed to the kitchen" she meekly replied. Her face turned much redder than before, when Eduard suddenly touched her forehead.

     Angie was shocked to her young master actions. This was the first time that he was bothered to small matters like this towards her.

 "Oh, okay" Eduard did not ask much, since he already confirmed that Angie was not sick.

    He removed his hand on her forehead to avoid misunderstanding.

 "By the way, I will just go to the dining hall on my own. I will just fix myself first, just tell this to Linda" Eduard said while picking up the towel on the side

 "y-yes young master" she nodded and quickly vanished on the sight of Eduard. 

Eduard can only smile in Angie's action.

"This girl is really clumsy like on the memories of old Edward".

     After finishing his breakfast, Eduard walked out of his residence to meet his people.

    This was just the right time to distribute the task to everyone. 

    The sun was shinning brightly which is a good time for constructing and farming work.

 He gathered all the people in front of his residence to make his arrangement. Including the knights and two maids inside the house, they are in front of his residence.

    Everyone were looking at their new lord, the 10 knights was forming a neat row in front. The two maids were on the both side of Eduard.

 "Good morning my people", Eduard greeted everyone.

    "I will introduce myself to everyone before everything else, since we have come here yesterday" he loudly said with a sense of authority.

 "I am Viscount Eduard Chris your new Lord. I won't hide it to everyone, I am a novice in governing this land but I hope you will cooperate in my agenda's. " He sincerely introduced about his self.

    "As your Leader, I will ensure that you will have a safe place to live, and enough food to eat, but we don't have that luxury right now. So, we will take it one step at a time, until we flourish" He strongly voice out. 

    He continued to tell his plans and possible arrangement for everyone on the future. Eduard was like a politician who is in the process of candidacy.

    After saying his speech, Eduard's body was sweating a lot.

    He was nervous, it was like in his school days where he performs a speech in front of the stage and the people was looking at him intently.

 He just put his hands inside his pocket to avoid unnecessary movements and not to be notice his nervousness by everyone. 

     "So now, I will start assigning the task for everyone. Linda please report the people count on me, including the assets that we have" he requested.

 Linda nodded and started to make her report.

     "Young master, you currently have 42 people including us the maids, 10 are knights and 30 are slaves, all of them are in healthy condition. The knights are all male while on the slave's side,25 are males and 5 are females. There are no minors and old people in the slaves. The females are also with their husband." She continuedly said.

     Eduard was amazed by the analyzation ability of Linda. She has an ability of a secretary and a maid. Her report makes it easier for him to analyze his people status and conveniently allocate the work to them.

     "For our assets, we are left with a hundred gold coins. The food that we have is enough for one month, if the slaves were only distributed half a pounds of grains per day. We also have 3 horses and 1 cart that can be used for transporting goods. "

 After Linda's explanation she stepped backward to the side of Eduard.

     On the other hand, Eduard was analyzing the situation. He was managing on how to allocate his people.

 He sighed inwardly, 'I lacked the people to do a lot of work.'

 After pondering for a while, he decided to assign the task.

 "I will distribute now your work. The 10 knights will now be assigned to repair my residence. After you repair my residence, you will help the servant to repair their tents. Do you have any comments" he authoritive said.

 The 10 knights kneel in front of Eduard and chorus said, "we will heed your command, Lord ".

     Eduard loosened his breath. He thought that he will gain complaints from his knight since it was not in line of their work. 

    He forgot that his rulers command skill was currently working.

 "Now for the slaves, 5 of you will be assigned to be a helper of knight in constructing and repairing my residence. The rest will be assigned to clear the field on the north to make a bed for farming. UNDERSTOOD?"

 All the slaves kneel in front of him and respond to him weakly, "understood, my Lord".

 Eduard nodded to their response with a look of satisfaction, "for the two maids, you will be assigned to cook the lunches of this people. You are free to take the 5 women slaves if you lack the manpower" he said as he faces the two maids at his back.

 They also knelt happily and agree to him.

 "Now start to disperse and do your work"

     Everybody stands up and proceeded to their assigned task. They gathered their materials needed for the assigned tasks.

     Eduard was now left alone in front of his residence with a troubled look, 'Now, what should I do, I forgot to left someone to accompany me. I don't have anything to do for the whole day. Do I need to laze around? No, no, no I am the Lord, what would happen if they see me leisurely lying around here without working, while they are tirelessly making their labors. But I am the boss here. Still no."

      Due to his skill Rulers Command, nobody retorted to his command. The skill ability was strong to make everyone agree to his arrangement. If the skill presence was not there, the knight's dissatisfaction will be visible and their complaints will be voice out to him.

     Only the maids and the slaves would give a positive response to him.

     Right now, Eduard was still troubled on his situation he will be bored if he has nothing to do.

     After a while, he decided to look at the kitchen to help. Since in his past life, cooking was his hobby, so held for the kitchen task. 

 Walking at the kitchen door, Angie and Linda was shocked to his sudden appearance. They immediately come to him.

 "Young master, what can we do for you?" Angie asked while halting her work.

"No need to be bothered, I just wanted to help. I have nothing to do for the whole day. I will also feel that I am useless, if I only watched everyone to do their work " Eduard said while waving his hand like saying that ' not to mind him'.

    Linda was even more shocked to Eduard's statement, since Eduard did not even enter the kitchen from the time that they were employed by him. 

    At the same time, both she and Angie feel that something was amiss on their Lord but they cannot point it out.

    Eduard did not mind the two and started to gather his ingredient. He decided to make a vegetable soup for the workers, this dish was simple and appropriate for cooking in large quantities.

     Linda and Angie notice that the Eduard started to do his things, they also came back to continue what they are doing.

     They only hope that Eduard will not make something inedible.

 Before the sun came down, a system notification appears in the screen.
