Disaster at the birthday party

Rebecca’s POV

We get to the party and people are already there. Drinks and food are plenty, thanks to Nica. I was the only person missing, making the birthday complete. The place was beautifully decorated with my pictures all over the place. There was also a projector which showed my pictures on the wall. No one has ever done such things for me, and I felt very precious. People welcomed me with a lot of warmth. I could tell they were happy to see me.

“There is a special chair for your Rebecca and Carlos.” Nica said as she held my hand and showed me the place.

“Thanks Nica.” I said to her as we both sat down. Since I was here already, the party was about to begin. I did not like to stay for too long since I was shaking from fear. I don’t know if I can make it without doing any damage.

“The dress looks beautiful on you, Rebecca.” She whispered in my ear.

I was happy she liked it. If she said it was perfect, then I trust her. She has better taste than me anyway.
