Two hours later and Kathleen found herself at Marcos convenience store shopping for a tub of ice cream and lasagna sheets as she offered to cook her boss a meal, her hands skimmed over a bunch of bananas to check if it was overriped which was perfect to get a discount on even though she could afford it—it was a die hard habit she couldn't get rid of no matter how hard she tried.

Grayson appeared out of nowhere with a boxes of prepackaged dumplings with excitement written all over his face, ‘Can you imagine this babe?? Who knew they made things like these??'.

Her brows rose in amusement, ‘Uhh everybody??'.

‘Seriously??', he was surprised to hear as he dumped all the boxes which had variety of flavours inside the cart, ‘I never knew packaged foods came like this'.

She chuckled, ‘It's cause you've never had to eat them. These cost like a dollar, they helped me survive my college years'.
