"What are we doing? I thought we were going to discuss some things?"
"We are. Right after we get your wings to 'pop' out?"
"Ummm, I'm sorry, but I assumed our discussion would have to come first due to the fact that my life kida depends on it. Right?"
Pulling me into his arms looking down at me with those beautiful amber eyes. "It does, but once this decision is made then I can only assume one of two things. One, the fairies back off for the time being while they switch their plans up. Or two, they get increasingly angier and come at us full force. Allowing myself to sink into the hot bath and hope it washes away the feeling I have deep in the pit of my stomach. Somewhere deep down inside I knew that my dream was real. Couple bruises and lots of sweat later we decided to stop for the day. I have not only managed to produce my wings, but also tucking them away and reproducing them again. Then the biggest truimph of all is I accomplished getting off the ground. Now, granted it was only maybe three feet. But it's better than nothing at all. Small victories. Lifting me up into his arms. It wasn't long until I found myself in a room surrounded by old relics and artifacts. All varying in all different colors, shapes and sizes. There were many sculpures of the moon in each one of its phases. Each detailed so beautifully. There was even ones made of flowers and some were made of different color gems. They were a sight to behold. Along the white stone walls there were crowns. Each varying in style and each in their own display case with an interior light shining down on them making even the smallest of gems sparkle. There was an altar of sorts at the further end of the room. It was covered in a white silk fabric with green and white ivy vines wrapping around its four legs and acting as garland at its flat surface. There were soft white lights above the altar resembling hanging christmas lights. On each side of the table there were unlit candles. The old faerys green eyes were almost neon now. Intensly bright and her whole body looked to be vibrating. I looked over at Dimitri and he was already looking at me. He squeezed my hand and mouthed. Walking into the cave the temperature changed and dropped several degrees. The further we walked in the cooler it got. My warm skin goosebumped with the sudden change in temperature.The walls were wet and I could hear water dripping and echoing from a distance. Once Dimitri left heading to the springs I decided to study the map a little more. After closer inspection I noticed that there seemed to be more faery realms than fairy. Which is a little confusing to me. How do the fairies outrank us in this war if we have more realms than they do. Hence more faeries to fight? I know that my father had ordered for the kidnapping and experimenting on faeries and Dimitri said after a time it became noticed that faeries were missing. But how on earth were we still being outranked?There were two large fairy realms one small. Then there were six faery realms. One of the faery realms was incredibly large and the other five were still a decent size. That was three realms to six.Each realm was outlined in a different color and in each of there bottom left corners were initals. Endless thoughts were running through my mind. Too many to try to single out and analyze. Or over-analyze as I tend to do, but honestly, who wouldn't with all this.We seemed to sit there in silence for awhile each lost in our own train of thought. He didn't say much on the way into the cabin, but once we reached the room he said "I'll put some pillows between us so we won't accidently touch. I don't want to hurt you." Just then I really seen the torture in his eyes and I knew he was reaching his end for the day. The room was white with an queen size oak bed that had a soft yellow comforter on top with many different size throw pillows decorating it. The room was simply decorated other than the bed. As we made our way to the campsite I still remained in awe about how beautiful this place was. And looking up at the sky to think that it wasn't just a normal open view and it was magic producing a shield and what I was seeing was basically artificial. It's just crazy how things still amaze me still. I know I'm still very new to all this, but it's crazy to me that this whole world existed and I had no idea, or I should say had no memory of its existence, but noone has any idea that magic and fairies are real. After the whoosh of cool air blasted across my body Dimitri spoke "You can open your eyes now, Love."I opened one eye first. As I wiggled my toes and closed my eyes I tried to focus on what Dimitri wanted me to do. Create a force shield around me to protect myself. Not sure exactly how to do that. But imagination all the way. I thried to picture me standing in a big bubble, but the bubble couldn't pop. I felt the air stir up a little and my hair gently grazing my cheeks. I was starting to feel like a prisoner in this damn cave. Seems like everyone can come and go as they wish, except for me. I'm stuck sitting here twiddling my thumbs waiting for someone, anyone to come pay me a visit. Theo and Aimee left a while ago and I have no clue when Dimitri will be back.
